The Game is reporting it as a rumor from ESPN. Nothing official yet.
 
They are talking about it on 95.5. Said that Espn was reporting it but haven't seen anything on ESPN page.
 
He is another UW/Seattle guy. Good take it to the hole kind of player. I played against him in a pick up game at UW and got schooled worse than I did most of the time. I love his free throw routine. Maybe this is a move to ensure we get the slam dunk champ?
 
Not sure I like this deal Robinson will take even more minutes from Bayless. I will say one thing I like about Nate is he's a competitor....
 
Seems strange to me. He would fill a similar role to Bayless, yet in a much smaller frame. I liked the fact that with Sergio you at least had two different types of players backing up the point guard spot.

All still speculation, I didn't see anything on espn.com yet, did anyone else?
 
The last thing I want is for another midget to be eating up the playing time of Roy, Rudy and Bayless.
 
He does seem like a Bayless type player. Maybe there is a part 2 with Bayless/RLEC?
 
I'm not a big Nate fan.. the guy plays no D, and dominates the ball and needs to, to be effective.
Hopefully he's willing to sit, so we can give the minutes to Bayless.
 
I've been watching ESPN for about an hour and haven't heard anything. Where is this being reported?
 
My guess is that this would be part of a bigger deal that includes D.Lee.

95.5 reported it but they said something about ESPN reporting it. I can't find anything on it so not sure if they had inside information or if it was a caller who pranked them.
 
Hmm.. well the sports update on 95.5 is coming up, so let's see what they say.
 
Sergio for Nate straight up doesn't work. Blazers would have to throw in more salary ...

they wouldn't take a callers word for it... they would have to get it from a reporter or the owner of their radio station.
 
maybe sergio is asking out now because he knows he won't be playing much.

They could make it work by throwing in Randolph. Nothing new on 95.5 update so I'm not sure there is any truth to this rumor.
 
I hope Sergio ends up in NY, I think the system will fit him well.

I hope Rudy doesn't go to visit him . . . I could see Rudy as a NY kind of guy.
 
Nate Robinson would be puzzling at best.

If it happens then Bayless is pretty much guaranteed no playing time the rest of the year at least.
 
I like Nate Robinson, but I don't know how this deal (as "reported") would really help us. He's basically just another Bayless. He can blow up offensively, and Roy played with him at U-Dub, so perhaps Roy could convince Nate to modify his game a little. I don't know what to think.

One thing that IS interesting about this trade if it goes down is the Blazers could have TWO participants in the dunk competition!

I don't agree with "no playing time". I think your are downplaying Bayless competitiveness when you do that.
 
It's nothing but a rumor right now. But the fact that its not on ESPN.com or anywhere else is interesting. Because we all know that once a trade rumor hits the media it's almost always already dead.
 
Well.. since it seems this rumor was started on the MSP, it's as valid as any rumor you hear out there. Probably just Gavin or CIP just throwing out stupid crap..
 
I'm hearing now that some fool texted in to the MSP that he heard the rumor on ESPN, and Gavin reported that ESPN was speculating that the deal would happen.

Way to believe the text messages without checking your sources, Gavin.

Apparently the deal that was never on is now off.

Some guy on OLive said Gavin or whoever read a text they received that the trade was on ESPN. haha.. they got fooled.
