Serious Question For Trump Supporters

Please lock this Denny, I 'm serious. I don't want my name on this shit show.

As soon as he played poisinous games with the GOP candidates I assumed he would never make to the final round. Both he and Clinton were awful choices and now we are subjucated to horror 1/20/17 on wards. My wife found a stat that I was not aware of regarding the general group that supported Trump was the "the uneductaed white male."

He did say he loves the uneducated

I don't tread over here very much as most of you know. My wife and I would not be considered super political people. I served my country and we both vote, but that's the extent. I honestly paid no attention to this election......it was more of a choose the lesser evil of the two situation. I know there are a hundred separate threads about Trump, but I just had a question for you experts in the word of politics.

That said, we both loved Obama and how he handled himself during his tenure. He really connected with a whole new audience if you will. To me, politicians have always felt like my grandparents. Old and stuffy...... shit this guy had a weekly run of hoops at the white house. Regularly mingled with musicians, actors and athletes. Seemed like a regular guy. I wa proud to call him our leader.

Now that may be the exact reason why some DON'T like him, wouldn't really understand that, but everybody is allowed to have their own opinion.

My question is, for you that are actually HAPPY that Trump won the election, how do you explain or accept or say it's OK when it comes to all the bullshit he has said?

I have a daughter and she is 11. And she asked me the other night, "Why is trump our president, even though he had grabbed women in their private parts?" WOW! How do you answer this? How sad that our kids will remember a person that has said what he has said about people openly as our leader. All the hate, degrading things he has said make any type of policies he plans to implement completely moot if you ask me. I don't care how many jobs he creates, aren't you honestly worried he'll say or do something so completely out of line or offensive at a dinner with dignitaries from other countries that he will hurt us as a country?

As much as I fuck around on here, I'm a husband and a parent first and I have raised my kids to do nothing but show compassion and respect to others NO MATTER WHAT. And it saddens me that the man who now holds the most powerful position in our country, even the world has been allowed to treat other humans beings this way.

I hope I haven't offended any Trump supporters by asking these questions, just was wanting serious answers from people who support and believe that a man like this is what's best for you and your family. Curious how you would have answered the question my daughter asked me.

Hope this doesn't become another thread where you guys just blast each other or me. Just want to know how you can be happy with your choice as you tuck your kids into bed.

@HCP, I've got some respect for you after reading this post. I am a parent and a teacher. My son has also heard of some of the horrible things Trump has said, and no doubt Trump will be on the tv saying horrible things for at least the next four years. All, I can do is remind my son, that Trump isn't a good man, that the horrible things he says are wrong, and that actions show who you truly are.
There are a lot of conservatives on here who have given Obama shit for the last 8 years, and are now being hypocritical. They, mostly uneducated white males, voted for him out of spite, voted for him as a reaction to the first black president having been in office the last 8 years. Yes, I think race has played a large part. There is a lot of hate.

Consveratives when asked why they voted for Trump, those who don't claim spite, say it's because he is going to change things. Stop corruption. I agree politics have been corrupt as shit, with corporations and wall street paying off politicians behind the scenes. Trump is bringing those rich Ceos into the government, so they can do whatever they want. There will be no regulations. Corporations such as pharmaceuticals, oil companys, banks, etc will be allowed to roam free...Instead of seeing corruption taken out back and shot, we will see it occur at the highest levels right in our faces.

Trump is a con man, and his merry band of uneducateds will follow him to the gates of hell. I don't like him, I don't support him, and I dont trust him. I will never trust a man who constantly says 'believe me'

Ironic you ask that......Neil lived 5 houses down from us. Good family friends, grew up with his kids. Man nobody had a clue all that shit was going down. Absolutely horrible.

I think he later lived in Koin tower.

"I got my degree in Liberal Arts, so I'm smarter than you! I know what's best for you!"

You'd make a great Democrat politician one day, Chris.

Y'know, people say that Trump supporters are crazy, but I think that's short sighted. There are MANY types of crazy. There's creepy, Ed Gein crazy (MarAzul). Then there's the gibbering fly-eating, Tom Waits in Dracula crazy (magnifier661) and finally there's seen-too-much-so-finally-something-broke-inside crazy (Jade Falcon). But they do have one thing in common: somewhere there's an ex-wife with a restraining order.

Saddest of all, though, is the Trump Supporter Wannabe. And that's Denny.

LMFAO.

So this is what it's come to now, huh? Low brow insults?

What's wrong? Did making a thread about Trump every 5 seconds fail to give you an erection?

The funniest part of your post is assuming I have an ex-wife.

I don't.

At least....that's what I told the police. :bgrin:

Now...who wants to come to my place for a BBQ? I bought a new grill for my new concrete porch that I made after my ex wife disappeared.

I grew up in poverty with very little. My dad worked his ass off to put food on the table and to keep a roof over my family's head. I have been without, I have seen the reality of what being on the bottom, in the lowest class is. I didn't have a rich daddy to borrow a 'small loan' of a million dollars from. I worked my ass off, the first person in my family, and I'm not just talking in my nuclear family, I'm talking extended family, generations, to even go to college. And, yes, I graduated, and I fucking earned it.

I'm not saying this world owes me a damned thing, it doesnt. I'm saying I came from the bottom to get where I am, and I haven't forgotten it. I know there are millions of people who have been or who are going through similar adversities, and that doesn't make them less than people like Trump. Because I have had some success in my life doesn't make me better then anyone who hasn't.

If I ever did run for office, at least I, unlike most of those who hold seats, I could actually be representative of the American people, as I have actually experienced what most Americans experience. Hardships, difficult choices between paying bills and putting food on the table. I understand the conditions, and can therefore understand the need. Trump and most of the people who have been president or held other offices never even glimpsed poverty, never glimpsed the life of the majority of Americans.

SAD

I thought it was funny as hell...especially Tom Waits as Dracula's groupie.....he did insult you though so I'll apologize for Rasta but he did insult only people who've repeatedly insulted him...

If you got a small loan of 1,000 and turned it into a million dollars, you would be at the same level as Trump.

As for me, I lived without too. I think your post was petty. I can name my misfortunes too.

Let's see...
1.) I had a brother that was a crack addict and died from his illness at age 37.

2.) our family went bankrupt twice and we lived in a 2 bedroom apartment in Clackamas with a family of 5.

3.) My father died early and i was forced to give up my dream of music and art to run the family business, having to litigate the vultures that tried to take my family's business away from us.

4.) my son is currently in a drug rehabilitation program and tried to commit suicide.

I voted Trump and I had it bad just like you. Don't give me this woah is me shit that you've been through some shit therefor you are the moral compass of politics. Fuck off

Here's the view from this uneducated white boy's neighborhood of half a million dollar houses. Derpy derp. Me dumb.

The dumbest part about buying this house was that it was brand new. You don't get as much square footage per dollar but we made a conscious decision because you only live once.image000000_04.jpg

Really! You like to hide in the weeds when you insult people I see. Do you ever think you will grow out of this weakness?

PS No ex-wife here.

Looks like it's out of the flood plain. That's good.

Pretty much this.

Chris, I grew up in very ugly poverty in the Bay Area to cocaine-addicted parents in a one-bedroom apartment surrounded by coke-heads. Both parents were alcoholics as well.

In my 20s, I lived in poverty on a side of town where it was routine to find needles on the ground outside the house I lived in. Which was falling apart, by the way.

I slept in my car on job sites while working as both an armed and unarmed officer for several security companies because my boss would have fired me if I left the site. And I made only $10.32 and hour.

We all have sob stories, and trust me: I could go on and on with mine. You're not gonna win my pity with yours.

Be proud of yourself for your accomplishments. You certainly have my respect for that.

But don't label those who aren't you as uneducated. You are NOT superior to me.

I voted for Trump. And your arrogance is half the reason why.

Prioritize things how you want. Living on the ocean could be worth it for some. Buying a 600000 dollar house in old Methland, errr Portland built in 1920 ain't my style. Whatever floats people's boats.
