Serious question: is there an incoming player you're excited about?

Is he more similar to Brandon Roy than Clyde/Walton/Rasheed?

In terms of age, absolutely.

I actually think he's a better player than Roy or Rasheed, obviously, and I think that he might be better than Clyde. Not as good as peak/healthy Walton, but that was so brief that it's hard to compare the two.

BUT... we didn't try to rebuild around any of those guys. Most superstars basically has one shot with a given franchise (in terms of a core around him) and then they need to go somewhere else to be plugged in elsewhere. Someone like LeBron is of course the exception, partly because he's SO good and partly because he was so young when he started.

If we end up acquiring Jerami Grant... Josh Hart will still be my favorite incoming player.

I will die of laughter if we acquire Grant and Hart is one of the pieces used to do so.
