nope...I have no control over that..and I own 2 guns....but the root of gun violence is mental illness....vetting maybe worth looking into...people talk about police training....depression is part of that problem....if you were interested you'd talk about my point...rather than self defense.

I think you made depression and gun ownership your point. Depression is not necessarily mental illness nor a reason for people to lose their Constitutional rights or their natural rights to protect themselves.

I have to hand it to you though, you made no spelling errors.

"A mental state characterized by a pessimistic sense of inadequacy and a despondent lack of activity."

I don't lump demographics into one statistic.....chronic depression is not just someone having a bad day.....until you see that it's a condition, not a mood...then you won't understand the risks in arming someone with depression that could lead to a cop that slipped through the cracks or anyone wanting police assisted suicide...we've had too much of this recently....the concept you are fearing is not the topic ...citizens are denied
