Trading him might get us the SG of the future.
and then we can trade that SG for the PG of the future
I might get roasted for this, but I think Nic is a better ball handler and passer than Wes. And his performance this summer in Europe is confirming that belief.
We have a plethora of wings already. We need bigs.
I'm thinking more along the lines of packaging Matthews/Felton/Wallace to land us that PG.
So we want the PG of the future to have no SG on the team and only 1 SF?
that's...smart, I guess.
Has shown 0 ability in the NBA at not only creating his own shot because of average ball-handling, but he also hasn't shown the aggressiveness, either. Also, Wesley isn't a bad option at SG at all.
The team needs a PG and C. Pretty simple.
What PG do you have in mind? I don't think we could get anyone for that package that would be worth it.
While Boston is not shopping Rajon Rondo, it would be open to trading him in the right deal, sources say. The Celtics feel they need more scoring to take the load off of Paul Pierce.

I know the Blazers made a push for him on draft night...
Tell me more. So far I'm intrigued by your plan of Mathews/Felton/Wallace for Rondo and Batum for an SG. What SG do you have in mind?
