At least last summer we knew we could push and have cap space the following summer. That's not the case anymore. What you see is what you get. If we re-sign all our RFAs, we will have roughly the same team and very little chance of changing that unless we make a trade.

Draft Express says Napier is 6-1 with shoes, and 5-11 without shoes. He has big shoes to fill.

Brian Roberts is a good shooter. I'd rather keep him. He is 6-2.5, and 6-1. So he's from 1 1/2 to 2 inches taller.

Your point was good. Career is Napier .347 vs. Roberts .353. But Roberts is a good all-around shooter, and Napier a 3-point specialist.

His max vertical is only a couple of inches less than Evan Turner for comparison of athleticism. What is different is his wingspan is well over his height where Turner's is almost identical as his height. Of course they play different positions but if you're not that athletic, I'd like some wingspan to help cover that.

Napier can handle the rock and real good set people up and quick as shit. I think he will play in the summer league. He didn't look bad in his rookie season with Miami.

I saw Napier up close last season when we thumped the Magic at home. His 1-9 shooting performance was memorable in it's sheer absurdity and lack of self awareness. I know it's tough to judge a player by one game, but the fact he was just given to us for cash shows he's Nolan Smith-level trash.

I saw him in the Summer League and play for the Magic. He's friggin terrible! I think he's just a cheap replacement for Roberts. Man even Boris Diaw just got traded to Utah. We're so far behind it isn't even funny.
