I doubt it's bogus, but I'm not surprised by the announcement either. I'm sure Shaq probably signed a two or three year endorsement deal with them so he would be on the cover. I remember Allen Iverson was on the cover the first few years the series was released... so it has been done before.

I don't think players should be on it for 2 consecutive years....He was on it last year, he should give somebody else a chance... And by the way, has Lebron even been on the cover of a game yet? I know Melo and Wade have but I'm not sure about Lebron. If he hasn't, he definitely deserves one...
