I didn't see Stephen A Smith but the blond on ESPNEWS mentioned it at the beginning of the hour and again right now with the guy she's talking to. If you have ESPNEWS check it out but most likely it looks like the trade wont happen

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith reports that the Suns and the Blazers were talking a trade involving Shaquille O'Neal leading up to Thursday's deadline.
The trade deadline officially passed at 3 p.m., but word of deals that have transpired could potentially continue to come in after the deadline. No word yet on the particulars of a Shaq to Portland trade or if one has transpired, but stay tuned.
