Thought this could be fun. Throw up something most haven't heard before.

I'll start with Hummin by Toots Theileman HUMMIN select song 5EDIT:take the time to listen to the toots version, it really is best grooves I've ever stumbled across and it just gets better as the song continues. This song makes me happy.

Also here is the same song by Cannonball Adderley quintet. Cannonball version

Enjoy, let me know if you dig it, and throw one up of you favorites.

Are people listening to Hummin and not digging it? I don understand that, but fine, to each his own. You can still post whatever obscure song floats your boat.

There's no music on the first link.

The song is not obscure, but the version is.

Maybe this isn't obscure, but I didn't know many Blackfoot fans back in the day.

Go Blazers

yeppers, they had some good stuff..seems like they were an aquird taste, like The Band, or the Allman Bros..funny thing was that some liked one or two but not all the above..

if you are a fan of psychedelic music this whole album is a must listen, an absolute classic

Dave Grohl singing a song while still in Nirvana:

I think it was on the Heart Shaped Box maxi single or whatever it was called.

Fuggin love this song. Thought it was early Foo Fighters for the longest time because I always used to listen to my entire Ipod collection on shuffle and I had their discography (and Nirvana's).

Mine is the Heart Gently Weeps by Wu Tang Clan featuring John Fruiscante and Eryka Badu:

Music is rad! In this ot section politics, religion, philosophy and just about everything divides us, except music. Rad baby!

So let's get obscure.

back in highschool I LOVED (and still secretly do) this terrible goth band:

Then they turned into this:

meh.

wow Pat Travers & Blackfoot. We were listening to the same stuff back in prehistoric times.

I got a T-Shirt yesterday for v-day. It says, "I may be really old, but at least I got to see the really good bands play."
