Dammit River. Now I really want Sheed to end up coaching Lamello or Lonzo, so when the correct circumstances align, he can make one joke, one time at a press conference and transcend this physical world.Sheed thought about it and then said..."Ball don't lie"
Sheed thought about it and then said..."Ball don't lie"
Actually Sheed won a chip with one of the smallest centers in the league in Ben Wallace...he'd be perfect here but you'd get T'd up a lot with him on the bench. Love to see what he could do with Walker and Watford..I’d love Sheed on our coaching staff. If only he had some big men to coach up…!
SameI’d love Sheed on our coaching staff!
I don't think you're in the minority, I think the minority is really loud & proud. There is a faction of American society that loves to get their hate on. They gravitate towards those subjects/people in our culture and especially sports where they can coalesce around and spew venom. While he was never my favorite player, the passion and skills Wallace brought as a player on both ends easily overshadowed his flaws. I know we're far from alone in liking him.To be fair, I don't think Chauncey Billups offered. Too bad. I am the minority that likes Shred
If I can get over Gary Payton wearing the purple and piss, I can easily look past Sheed sitting on their benchLove Sheed but the Lakers are a disaster.

I'm glad to see him excelling in coaching post playing career. I heard several top players in the past draft site him as a positive in their development. I very much doubt this train wreck of a Lakers team will be his last stop.

Actually Coach Rogers is plenty good on his own. Nurk has shown progress under his tutelage.I’d love Sheed on our coaching staff. If only he had some big men to coach up…!
The “Lot” don’t lie!Nurk: They keep calling everything on me. What do I do?
Sheed: Meet them in the parking lot after the game.
I was already aware you were in the other camp from your other posts, you'd made that crystal clear. I know that he was extremely unpopular with Quick and Canzano because he wouldn't play their stupid drama games and so they derided him daily in their stories. That for me was a feather in his cap as I always hated those two soap opera losers. I also know he was lauded and loved by his teammates and many of the games best players from his day. Players I hold distain for are those who's dirty play endangers other players and/or conduct themselves like scumbags off the court... my all time most hated was Karl Malone who combined both of those qualities. In general I don't pretend that watching guys play or watching them interviewed really lets me know them... hell, that ended with OJ.IDK Stomp?
Bunch of people I know don’t really like or miss him at all.
He was a good player sure but he was extremely toxic.
I personally don’t want him anywhere near the Blazers.
Wish him well and happy for his success yes but I’ll pass on him coming back here in any capacity.
I’ve probably been too tough on the guy but no question I don’t and never will know him or what his true situation was.I was already aware you were in the other camp from your other posts, you'd made that crystal clear. I hope Sheed continues to positively impact young players through coaching but suffer no illusions that he'll be doing so in Portland as that would be a PR pandoras box that I'm sure he & whoever is managing the Blazers will have no desire to open.
