Sheriff Joe Arpaio investigating Obama

PHOENIX, Ariz. – When Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio announces the findings of the first official law-enforcement investigation into the questions surrounding Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility for office at a news conference Thursday, March 1, WND TV will be there to provide exclusive live-streaming, founder and Editor Joseph Farah announced today.

In addition, WND will make available to the public, the same day by e-mail, the official report distributed to media by Arpaio’s “Cold Case Posse.” Those interested in receiving the report can sign up for the free service between now and the March 1 press conference.

“When I took this mission on, I took it on to possibly be able to clear the president,” Arpaio said during a speech in Maricopa County. “I was doing him a favor. We’ll see what happens.”

Arpaio has kept the results of the investigation close to the vest, but suggested in a speech Tuesday that new information would be revealed.

“I don’t have press conferences just to get my name on television. When I have a press conference, I talk about something,” Arpaio said. “I had about 250 tea party people, to sign a petition . . . came to me and asked their sheriff to investigate Obama and the birth certificate. So what should I do? Throw it in the waste basket and forget it like everybody else has done?”

The comments drew applause from the crowd, which was assembled to hear both Arpaio and presidential candidate Rick Santorum.

He applied for aid as a foreign student under the name Barry Soetero and received it, or so goes the story. I know, it's foolish, but it does point to a larger question.

A lot of this stuff would be cleared up if Obama would just release his college records, as Bush, Gore, Clinton, Kerry, McCain, and others have done. Why not just release all of his college transcripts? Seems easy enough to do, doesn't it?

Hell, my first job was with E and J Gallo in 1996, the base was only $34k, and I had to wait 5 days to start because my undergrad school took forever to mail my transcripts to the HR department. Second and third companies still required transcripts. By the fourth, I had a track record of success, and college didn't matter at all.

Fuck dude, I don't trust Obama one bit. Not that I have much faith in politicians as it is, and while I have significant doubts about Obama being a foreigner, to this point, his level of avoidance (for the most part), does make me a bit curious. I don't care to spend much time following this, until a potential significant development is released on this. Perhaps something interesting will be released.

The bigger question I have on Obama..... He and Blagojevich were ol' chums in Illinois, before the push for the election. There's been some speculation in the IL media about the ties and what other potential misconduct could have been taking place, but Obama really controls the media IMO, and I believe that's why we don't see more talk about it in the national media.

And Blago gets penalized. This is reverse-affirmative action mixed with law. The white guy takes it in the end.

One of my co-workers is a Gallo guy. And I come across a lot more Gallo guys in my line of work (all of which are happy to have left Gallo). But most everyone I have met that worked for Gallo are all about the same, personality-wise. It's odd (in that I've never met so many similar personalities that have come from one company). I mean, every company I've ever worked for.... everyone was so different. But Gallo? They're all the same, for better or for worse. Not knocking the personality, but being a numbers guy, I find the odds of so many similar personalities at one place unlikely. Unless you work at some very quirky place....

This isn't reference to you, so please don't take it as a slight, but in reference to those I deal with on a regular basis, the rest of my co-workers and I just kind of roll our eyes and tune out the Gallo people we deal with regularly.

I hear ya. I see my salespeople out there busting ass. I mean, some weeks, they just kick it around their houses, send a few emails here and there, and relax. But some weeks, they're traveling and on the clock 24/7. Very flexible hours and create your own pace, but I couldn't handle it. I am happy on the financial side. My time is still flexible, but it's steady, I have minimal travel, and nobody else in the company has much financial and accounting experience, especially within the industry, so I just get to do my thing. It is a rad industry to be a part of, and as far as the benefits of being in the industry, I can't say one bad thing (and I'm happy with my compensation too).

Were you living in Oregon when you worked for Gallo? Did you get those big jugs of Gallo wine for free? I love those when I see them at the store (though, the wine itself does not interest me, no offense).

Depending on which state you're born in there's a birth certificate, or certificate of live birth. He released that. He was born in Hawaii, after it became a state.

Bush, Kerry, Gore: I think all of their transcripts were leaked to the press, rather than released by the candidate.
Clinton, McCain: I don't think their transcripts are available... feel free to prove me wrong by posting them.
