Obama was the best thing that ever happened to the gun industry. All those people freaking out, saying he was going to come in and take their guns so they ran out and bought as much guns and ammo as they could. I bet if you asked the CEOs of gun and ammo manufactures they would want Obama as president forever.

Ha! The guy seems clueless about the effect his word will have on a number of subjects, yet he continues to run off at the face like a Pileated Woodpecker too long in the Chittum.

He berates the Supreme Court judges about campaign finance law, then IRS goes nuts on conservatives.
He speaks of "reforming immigration" and how they don't have the resource to close the boarder, and wham! Here comes all the kids from the rest of the Americas.
He speaks of "sensible Gun law" and bang! There are twice as many guns in the country and you have to get on a waiting list to get ammo.

Think of what he could do if he didn't screw up an pass on every teaching moment or opportunity he has. But I truly believe has really inept people helping him, probably should say dumb.

I went to a gun show with a former friend a few years ago. They had a lot of cool shit, the guns just looked badass.

This friend is a total narcissist. He can't take a joke at all, but loves to dish them out. He doesn't give a shit about stuff you talk about but his eyes light up talking about his guns.He shares a car with his poor wife but has thousands of dollars in guns.

In general he is the type I would expect to go on a rampage. I wouldn't be surprised.

I rode a 87 Honda Hurricane at about 140mph on 41st Avenue in Ridgefield without a helmet once. I normally couldn't do a pull up to save my life but got back to the house and did 5.

Just to look I to the psychology of people who hold tight to their guns, I think my bolded line is a big reason why. Most people feel helpless, but those who have guns legally don't feel quite as helpless. Many worry about what could befall in the future, but feeling that you have the power to protect your loved ones is a big reason why people have guns. Will the guns ever actually help or actually place someone in more danger, that's debatable, but the visceral feeling of strength and ability to defend oneself is a big reason many have guns.

Uh from reading that article you can tell the kid had some shit wrong "upstairs".

Fascination with guns to an OCD level, things had to be perfect or else he would get upset (OCD), a Lit-report on Adolf Hitler with arguments in class over his views in which he takes as fact and not just his opinion, would constantly wear his uniform for ROTC, you had to be careful what you said around him, etc.

I mean all of that above is not normal for a kid. The descriptions of him from others leads me to believe he was having some serious identity and OCD type issues. With who knows what else going on (family life had a little blurb that it might be a little tough), bla bla.


IMO, this kid was suffering from a psychosis.

Steven Kazmierczak, age 27, shot and killed five people and wounded 21 others before killing himself in a Northern Illinois University auditorium. According to his girlfriend, he had recently been taking Prozac, Xanax and Ambien. Toxicology results showed that he still had trace amounts of Xanax in his system.

Finnish gunman Pekka-Eric Auvinen, age 18, had been taking antidepressants before he killed eight people and wounded a dozen more at Jokela High School - then he committed suicide.

Asa Coon from Cleveland, age 14, shot and wounded four before taking his own life. Court records show Coon was on Trazodone.

Jon Romano, age 16, on medication for depression, fired a shotgun at a teacher in his New York high school...

Missing from list... 3 of 4 known to have taken these same meds....

What drugs was Jared Lee Loughner on? Age 21, killed 6 people and injuring 14 others in Tuscon, AZ.

Those focusing on further firearms bans or magazine restrictions are clearly focusing on the wrong issue and asking the wrong questions, either as a deliberate attempt to hide these links, or out of complete and utter ignorance.

Uh from reading that article you can tell the kid had some shit wrong "upstairs".

Fascination with guns to an OCD level, things had to be perfect or else he would get upset (OCD), a Lit-report on Adolf Hitler with arguments in class over his views in which he takes as fact and not just his opinion, would constantly wear his uniform for ROTC, you had to be careful what you said around him, etc.

I mean all of that above is not normal for a kid. The descriptions of him from others leads me to believe he was having some serious identity and OCD type issues. With who knows what else going on (family life had a little blurb that it might be a little tough), bla bla.


IMO, this kid was suffering from a psychosis.

I use to read that from cover to cover from the time I was seven to when I joined the Navy.

It had the low down on every gun available all over the world. It had a special section in the back, which listed all the guns that were legal to be sold to the African Natives.
I am talking here about the 1940's and Colonial Africa, where only old model gun were legal to sell, mussel loaders for the most part. The goverments in charge in those day
sure didn't want the Natives to be getting really armed. I think of this every time I hear Barrack Obama speak on the subject. However many Democrats can prompt the
