Breaking:

Preliminary information indicates 10 people were killed and more than 20 others injured in a shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College in Oregon on Thursday morning, said Oregon State Police spokesman Bill Fugate. The reports indicate that the shooter has been detained, Fugate said.

Authorities were “responding to reports of an active shooter” Thursday morning at the campus of Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

“There is a situation going on out there but we don’t have any more information at this time,” said Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dwes Hutson.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone had been hurt or killed.

How hard is it to change the Constitution? No, not the 2nd amendment. Let's just add torture to the Constitution for shit like this.
 
I don't understand how parents can't see that their child is becoming disturbed to this magnitude.

Passing tougher laws to help prevent gun violence remains a high priority for President Obama, the White House said Thursday after reports of a mass shooting resulting in multiple casualties.

“The issue of sensible steps that can be taken to protect our communities from gun violence continues to be a top priority of this administration,” press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters.

Earnest said the “vast majority of Americans” support stricter gun laws, including closing the so-called gun-show loophole. But he said Obama is “realistic” about the dim prospects of congressional action on gun control.

“The president has been quite candid about how this is and has been a source of frustration for him,” he said.

“It has at all not been lowered at all on the priority scale, but at the same time the president is realistic that we’ll need to see a fundamental change” about how the public presses for action.

Of course Obama will jump out minutes after the event to talk about gun control. Where was he when cops were being shot?
