You calling me a fan boy? You're way off, smartass [/sarcasm]

For real, I prefer Sony over Microsoft.

Usually, I'd go for Microsoft. But the PS3 is just plain amazing.

I'm not a fan of it. Way over priced.

I bought and sold 2 Wii's on eBay. Something about them must be special, because people are still spending $70-100 more than the MSRP.

My sister has a PSP with 6 games. Some of them are fun like need 4 speed, but the one I play is the NBA 07 demo disc that Sony sent. I think it's too bulky to be a durable MP3 player, but the graphics and sound quality is pretty good.

The real question should be (since u have an mp3 player) is do you have time for movies and video games on the go? I guess if you have a laid back job, ride on the school bus, or go on family vacations (car or plane) you could find some time to get some use out of it.

Not exactly, Blu ray DVD players run into the thousands alone. However, I still would never pay $600 for a video game system. That's just rediculous. Reminds me of those consoles in the 1980's that were around the same prices. People seem to overlook that era. lol

Lol, I can't believe those Blu-Ray players are so expensive. The cheapest one is the ps3, I would never pay that much for a dvd player, no matter how high my love of movies is.

Believe me I've seen those Blu Ray DVD players in action, even the highest quality ones around $3,000 at a buddy's house. It isn't worth the price IMO. Not for any of them. I know some people will argue with that, but I wasn't impressed.

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Mercury, get like shoes, clothes and stuff like that. I am sure you'll eventually get bored and stuff of video games. If you're a big video game guy, I'd go for the PS3, but get some shoes and clothes.</div>

I probably will. I am getting some money from other family members, but I might just spend it on some girls. You know a little birthday action.

You must be a crazy music fan. How can you handle 100,000+ songs? That's crazy. I just stick for about 75-100 songs. I dont even know of 100+ songs.

Ask for some condoms.

Whats amazing about it? The price tag.... or the lack of any good games?

Personally, I didn't mind the PSP. However, it severely lacks in terms of quality games. Also, at the moment, the PS3 is crap as well. It's library is severely lacking as well and the only good game on it is Resistance. If you can go for a Wii or a 360. The 360 has a ton of great games already and the Wii has already got a couple of great games on it.

The PS3 actually has a few high quality games since the debut. Also you have to remember that in video console gaming markets the first year or two for new consoles is usually rather poor since development companies are trying to get used to the new stuff they have to work with. I'm anticipating PS3 games two or three years down the road. That's why I never buy consoles when they debut anymore. Just isn't worth it for me.

My little sister got a Wii today.

................heh

Well yea, it came with 5 sports games and I played 3 of them including baseball, boxing, and tennis. It seems like if you just swing the damn remote you win everytime. I got bored of those games pretty fast, but I still think it's worth the $250 price tag.

I love the Wii so far. That's actually the first console I plan to buy. For me personally they have more interesting games. Mostly because of the new Zelda title, that makes a world of difference. Plus the titles planned for 2008. Anyway, in the end I always end up buying the Nintendo and Sony consoles after like, three to five years. lol

No because:

1) Gets boring kinda quickly
2) Breaks/malfunctions easily
3) There's better stuff to buy with your money

<div class="quote_poster">MrJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">2) Breaks/malfunctions easily</div>

Yeah that too, most notably the LCD light pops inside the screen. Sony fixes that for free, but it can happen quite often and you would have to send your PSP to a specific location to have it fixed. Then you may end up waiting more then two months for it to return.

Yea, I bought a PSP (with 1 game from this kid who thought he was gangsta) to sell on eBay and it had one of those air bubbles in the LCD screen, so I tried to push down on it, but the screen broke inside. Like it cracked inside the screen, but I barely pushed down on it.

So I just took the serial number sticker off my sisters PSP and switched it with the one I broke and returned it at Wal*Mart.

Oh yea, my sister had to switch out her PSP 2 times when she got it because of dead pixels.

Yea, I might buy that Sonic game for it, but I don't see much else right now. I hear that Wario game is good, but I don't know.

I know I will buy Smash Bros when it comes out on Wii.

Ok I got my Xbox 360 today. Unfortunately no games at the moment.

Thanks for your suggestions guys.

Better choice, NP.

Why didn't you get a PS3?

<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Why didn't you get a PS3?</div>

Because it costs too much in my opinion. There aren't any good games at the moment, and from what I hear, it has a lot of technical problems.

<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">What games are you gonna get for your 360?</div>

Well at the moment, I'm really interested in NBA 2k7, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, and Gears of War. Of course I have to dig out a lot of change, to get them. I'll probably get 2k7 first though.

NBA 2K7 is awesome. I am currently playing Association Mode, and it is very detailed and you can do a bunch of stuff on there.

NBA 2K7 is good, but it still has too many things missing to be considered a great basketball game. Worth buying for now though, I just hope the NBA games and basketball games in general start to improve next year because the last time I've been really satisfied with a good bball game was NBA Live back in 1997 on Super Nintendo. No joke.

Gears of War is very enjoyable. I think its the first game you need to get for 360.

lol, you were actually debating a PSP over a XBox 360?

Lets just say you made the right choice, lol.
