Hell no. I have seen enough of tanner in his time in Portland. Never again

My goodness please no
I’m cool with harkless coming back at on a team friendly deal.
Evan turner is FUCK NO

Is everyone reading the full question. Vet minimum? For a tremendous locker room guy, veteran experience, some versatility? Not for starter mins, not for any mins really. You got Jared Dudley in this league for a reason. Guys like that matter. And ET is better than Dudley.

To sit on the bench in case there were injuries......sure I am ok with that. He is a good teammate and a decent defender.
But not to be in the rotation with a healthy roster. I want a more explosive TRUE PG backing up Dame. And I want better outside shooters on the wing.

For veteran minimum? Yes, just because he’s also big enough to guard the elite wings. He could also probably help orchestrate the offense with the bench unit whenever CJ isn’t. If he could replicate his last year with us of 6.8/4.5/3.9 and will take a vet min? I mean...Hezonja’s worse...

Premise is flawed. We have Stotts as our coach.

I would totally do it, especially if I was going to trade CJ, which of course I always want to do. ET can facilitate for the second unit and defend well. I would sign him with the BAE if that's what it took and no one better was available. At the vet minimum he can just sit in a little glass cabinet that we can break in case of emergency.

I'm confused by the Yes votes.
The appropriate strategy is to surround our 2 guys who can get their own shot with
3 and D guys - not zero and D guys.

Ditto for Melo - a 3 and zero guy.

Hell fuckin no. Why the fuck would we do that? That dude can erase a ten point lead for the Blazers in forty seconds. Dear God help us if he actually makes a mid range jumper. He will take the next ten shots. Most over payed, over hyped player of all time.

HAYLE NAH.

You can’t really find 3 and D guys for the veteran minimum...

Turner would just be here to be an end of the bench guy who would play spot minutes when our forwards are in foul trouble or if our backup pg or Simons isn’t playing well.

Even playing Turner 15mpg as a second ball handler on the bench unit will help if you want to keep CJ at sg the entire game since Turner can also run a bench unit. It’d be an easy transition to tick up Simons’ minutes and tick down Turner’s too if Simons can really develop his game this season. That’s as much as you can ask for from a veteran minimum contract.

If you bring him in, Stotts will play him. I'd much rather have Aminu or Harkless back. Heck, I'd rather have Vonleh back.

Yeah, He might play well on his birthday.

Turner was butt shitty when he tried to create or get crafty. He did good on broken plays and he at least tried hard most the time on defense. But he was one of my least favorite signings we’ve had, but was sold to us fans as some kind of treasure type find.

There’s a reason he’s like a hot potato throughout the league.

I’d say no even to vet min.
