There's no right or wrong answer. The better college players carry insurance if they sustain a permanent injury in college.

It depends on the player. For some, they love the college atmosphere and for some, it's just a necessary stepping stone to the pros.
 
Should they? That's debatable. Personally, I wouldn't. If I was predicted as a top 10 pick in any sport, I'd go out.

Yep. And I LOVE school. Love it.

But make the money. Do as well as you can. And make up for the "college experience" later.

That's how I would (have) approached it, but I am not going to disagree with the decision that any student-athlete makes...

No.

When you turn 18 you are a legal adult and free to make your own decisions. Is it good for the NBA? probably not. But you can't blame a blue chip prospect (like a Lebron, Dwight, etc) for wanting to come out early.
