With Paul out... assuming the hornets lose quite a few.... the Blazers basically would only have to beat ONE of the following teams.

OKC - still real young but they will be into the race till the end.
Grizz - if they lose one of those starters... they are dead. no depth. also no defense.
Rockets - still not sold on them. but they should get in.
Suns - if they do trade amare... good bye. with amare they likely sneak in.

i think our season comes down to hoping the grizz or okc fall apart. and of course the hornets dropping with paul out.

No shit sherlock. Except for the fact that the other teams playing the Hornets that are battling for playoff position most likely have an easy victory.

well considering they play 3 playoff teams that i listed in february... id say it really doesnt effect the situation that much sherlock. its a pretty brutal sched.

and its amazing how bad our luck is. paul goes down 2 games after he hits the fucking jumper vs us to win it. meanwhile okc gets them the first night without paul. im coming to the conclusio its okc year. they are the blazers of this year. things are just going their way. gag.

Apparently you don't understand what I'm saying. Having the Hornets beating up on other playoff teams is a good thing. Giving the Grizz, Rockets, Suns, & Thunder easy victories actually works against us.

heres what im saying.... in FEB... when they do play those teams we are fighting with... its easy wins for those teams. howver hopefully they beat those teams late in teh year and help us while tehy have fallen out of the race.

thats our best scenario. then we have to beat out only 1 of those four teams i listed. taht looks promising for us IMO with the hornets being out.
