What do you think? I think a strong argument can made for it.

The USA occupies countries on either side of them yet we don't understand why they would want to have some nukes.

Dude, they tried to hire a Mexican Drug cartel to assasinate a Saudi diplomat on U.S. soil. That is bullshit. You can't reason with those pieces of shit so you blow them the fuck up.

I have nothing against Iranian people. If we could limit the blast to all of their government buildings I would be in favor of that.

The Saudis were the perpetrators of 911, so that means Iran has our back!

Fuck yeah, another war is exactly what we need.

In fact, I'd like to introduce my plan (yes, I am running for president). In my administration, we will declare war on every other country (except New Zealand). This will be a much bigger boon to the economy than WWII was.

Of course, we'll all have to go to work in the military or the shipyards. But that's a small price to pay.

Ya, let's throw billions of dollars towards another needless war and watch unemployment and poverty rise in the US.

Do you realize how daunting it is for college students right now who are entering the job market with the economy in shit, and 200 people competing for 1 job?

Do you realize how boring hyperbole can be?

And, on topic: no, we should not bomb Iran now. We should wait until there's something that will be particularly damaging for them and then blow it up then.

I hear ya. Let's just stick with solid (high-tech) intelligence, unmanned apparatus, and special ops...and see how that goes.

In WWll, mostly women worked in the shipyards, since the men were all away killing or being killed.

A relative of mine worked in the Portland shipyards during the war, and she commented in admiration on how many lesbians there were working there at the time. It's interesting (coincidence?) in that all the major ports on the west coast also now have the largest lesbian populations.

sweet a more updated version of a Timbers chant to the Tune of "She'll be coming round the mountain"

"Oh I'd rather bomb Seattle than Iran,
Oh I'd rather bomb Seattle than Iran,
Oh I'd rather bomb Seattle
I'd rather bomb Seattle
I'd rather bomb Seattle than Iran!"

I think we should befriend Iran.

But then, I'm averse to mass murder when a trade pact and respect for differences will suffice.

Eventually you may learn that Iran's leadership has no interest in "befriending" us.

Let Israel take of Iran. Billions in dollars in foreign aid, about time they earn it.

Not true, they tried to friend us on facebook just the other day.

No. This entire assassination "story" is just another elaborate fabrication [and old one from June, no less] to distract the masses and continue the fear mongering to justify the military industrial complex's global agenda. Seems like some of you are buying right into this one too...hook, line, and sinker!

Folks, stop and think.

Setting aside the long track record of lies by the US and Israeli governments, just ask yourself these questions.

1. Why would Iran want to assassinate the Saudi ambassador? Iran and Saudi Arabia are friends. Ambassadors are not decision makers. They are glorified messengers and in these days of instant global communications no longer enjoy the autonomous plenipotentiary powers they did in the days of sailing ships. There is no reason to kill an ambassador because another one representing the same exact government policies would arrive the very next day.

2. Why would Iran involve Mexican drug cartels? Drug cartels are great at smuggling and slicing up competition and informants with chain saws, but are not known for skills at diplomatic assassination.

3. Why do such a pointless killing inside the United States, knowing the US is looking for any excuse at all to launch a war?

Forget about 'Fast and Furious'! Forget about the economy! Forget about the wars! Forget about the mortgage-backed securities fraud! Forget about OccupyWallStreet! Forget about oil still leaking in the Gulf of Mexico! I got Terrorists for you! Scary TERRORISTS! Oooooh, scary, scary, SCARY! Booge booga booga! ... If that doesn't work we can go back to Michael Jackson's doctor!

I will have to admit I don't see a huge advantage to Iran for killing the Saudi Ambassador.

We'd only bomb if there were a rumored attempt on one of Obama's relatives.

Bomb-bomb-bomb, bomb-bomb Iran...

Obama is such a weirdo, he spends all this money on the military and he is socially conservative. He's worthless.
