Joe burned up all Jody's cap space. It'll have to be a minimum 2 year deal. If Duop keeps putting up big numbers, he's going to get tastier offers from other teams.

A team like Orlando has oodles more cap room for a backup Center that can stretch the floor. If the Magic say we'll give Reath a 3/10 instead of 1.5, then Duop will be sipping icy cold beverages on white sand beaches.
 
Agreed. Reath has more than earned an NBA contract.

I think the only reason he's on the 2-way, is that the Blazers we're trying to keep control of Moses Brown's rights.

At this point, please just cut either Brown or Ish & sign Reath.

His contract is only 250k guaranteed until 1/10/24. Fully GTD after. So my guess is Moses is waived then and Reath can be signed to a full NBA contract.

Duop is good on the min to be the third C. Other than that he's a scrub big that can hit the three and no one has a scouting report on. We'd been playing Jabari most of our minutes at backup 5.
 
And while you're at it, offload Ayton on anyone who'll take him. Shit, we'll take Nurk back at this rate.

Reath has been one of the best & most consistent players all season.

Not just one game. He has had strings of games where he leads the team in +/-. We’ve been clearly better when he’s on the floor for awhile now.
 
Bro we are what……5-30 or something…… “clearly better on the floor with him”…….and then he uses the always reliable way of evaluating a player, the old +/- #SIGH
 
He's on a two-way...... anyone who thinks he hasn't earned an actual NBA contract is just silly.
 
They will convert his contract when he runs out of eligibility to play with the main club.
