Simons to have surgery on thumb, out 4-6 weeks

For those of us that am tired of an undersized two, this is not the end of the world. Hope for a speedy recovery and interested to see how this changes our defense.

We gonna score 100 in any of our games the next month and a half? It's sad that that's an honest question lol
Blazers shot better then the Timberwolves did in their opening game. Minnesota couldn't hit the side of a barn. Portland shouldn't have an issue getting fans free chicken nuggets if you buy something else that's gross from McDonald's.

Well, I hope Simons makes a full recovery. I swear to god if Billups starts Brogdon and Thybulle, or Thybulle and Camara over Sharpe I am going to lose my mind.

We have GOT to start Sharpe and I would say move Thybulle to the 3, or better yet start Camara.

PG:Scoot
SG:Sharpe
SF: Camara
PF: Grant (ugh please let us trade him)
C: Ayton

That should be the starting lineup, although I will accept Thybulle instead of Camara.

Silver lining, Scoot and Shaedon start together, build chemistry, and we get a look at what that looks like for the future.
and just as importantly we give Brodgon some more run in the next 4-6 weeks to up his value should Joe look to trade him before the deadline for a team in need

I hope not. I've really come around on Brogdon as a significant part of this team and of Scoot's development. I think whatever assets he might bring in trade are less valuable than what he can do to bring our prized rookie along.

Fixed it for ya!
yes def off the bench....still more run the better for his value.

Im not in the camp of trading Simons on here but he is hurt now and it is what it is and time to look at the positives. Sharpe starting, Brodgon upping his value...

I'm not against keeping him either. Just looking at the positives in general with Simons out. Brogdon could be like Mo Williams and Earl Watson was to Dame to start his career.

Brogdon could still stay with us the whole year and get traded in the offseason while upping his value with the extra run, and giving knowledge to Scoot for one season.

Exactly. We do not need more draft capital. We need to develop what we have.
