Simple way to add borders

1.Press CTRL A.2.Now go to Edit-Stroke Black 2 Pixels CenterPress CTRL D.For the newbs.

OrNew layer CRTL AEdit -> StrokeWhite, overlay, 50 %Edit -> StrokeBlack, normal, 100%CTRL D^Make it inside BTW.

Yeah I actually used to use paint and boy did the quality go down by a lot... I knew this before but just recently. Good for newbs, and too bad I didnt know this when I started out
