yep. The myth of the "high octane Sonics offense" was really just Ray Allen, Ridnour and Lewis jacking up an absurd number of three pointers. They scored a ton of points doing that, which made them the second best scoring team in the league that year. But it was basically just walk it up, shoot a three, get back on defense.

People seem to be forgetting that Amare has developed into a reliable outside shooter, with nearly as much range as LaMarcus. I'm not convinced the pieces would fit, but having Greg/Joel inside and LaMarcus/Amare both capable of playing inside or out, the defensive matchups would be a nightmare for all 48 minutes.
