What's funny to me is that I knew Skip would bring up the stretch where Dame didn't score.

I swear to god, this dude expects Dame to score every minute of every game. If Dame doesn't put up 60 he had a bad game. I have never seen such ridiculous expectations for a player. He scored, what, 24 in the first quarter? Something like that? It takes a lot of energy to put up that many points in a short period of time, and the Lakers changed their defense. It was obvious. So Dame started to defer. Try to find other guys. The problem was that NOBODY ELSE WAS SCORING in the second. Nobody could hit a shot. Not Melo. Not GTJ. Just nobody.

He scored a ton in the first when we needed to set the tone and get out to a good start, and he scored a bunch in the 4th when we really needed him. For anyone to think that Dame had a bad game is just hyperbole. He's a point guard. His job isn't to score. His job is to run the team, and score when necessary. Skip completely disregards that the time that Dame wasn't scoring, CJ was going off. Why would Dame jack up shots while CJ is on fire? It's absurd. This guy is a clown, plain and simple.

I'm sure Skip is going to write a book claiming Dame is gay.
