I slept at the doctors office last night to get checked for sleep apnea. Turns out I do have it.Sleep Apnea is when you stop breathing in your sleep which results in a bad nights sleep. I stopped breathing 97 times in my sleep last night. I had to sleep with 23 things hooked on me. It sucked pretty bad. Now I have to sleep with this machine that shoots oxygen into my nose. At one point I stopped breathing for 53 seconds.Not fun

That sucks dude. Hope you get better so you don't have to have that thing attached to you all the time.

unfortunately it's a condition that tends to stay. My aunt has it. Yeah, it sucks, but once you get that machine it's manageable.

Yeah its not something you can get rid of. My dad has it he says after awhile you get used to the machine.

my aunt says the same. Also she got a boat battery so that she can go camping etc with it. So really, it isn't as bad as it may sound at first. You can deal with it and live a normal life.

^It doesn't fix it. It makes it so you can deal with it. I will probably have to sleep with this machine for the rest of my life. Its not as bad as it sounds.

</div>Yea, my cousin has it too. I slept at his house one night and it makes a shitload of noise. That sucks that you have to sleep with it. I was wondering where you were last night.

My dad's had it for a long time. It's really not as bad as some of you guys are thinking. Hell, most machines nowadays have just a relatively quiet buzz.On the bright side, that machine will keep you refreshed no matter how long you sleep. My dad could sleep for four hours, but wake up just like he slept eight hours.

Maybe you can beat David Blaines Time with Practice---I have Sleep Deprivation and My Dad has Sleep Apnea. As of now I havent slept in 42 hours (but im doing this for fun)
