My dogs recently got kennel cough from my step kids new puppy. Usually not a big deal but one of my dogs is really old so it has knocked her back quite a bit. Not to worry as she is getting better, but she has also been getting lots of attention especially when she coughs. My other dog who is younger and healthier, has taken note. He recovered a few days ago but likes to fake cough now. My wife was the dog nurse so he only does it when she is in the room now, and if he wants a treat he starts coughing a lot. It's pretty funny to watch.
