I disagree. Professional athletes while is a skillset is still part of the entertainment industry along with actors, musicians and artists. Load up a 747 full of everyone in the entertainment industry all the big names and it crashes tragic though it might be. Outside of their families and agents no ones life is really affected. Fill that same plane up with farmers, ranchers, CEO's of large companies, mechanics and welders and crash that same plane and you will see food prices rise, stock market drop, oil prices rise and a lot of people late for work. All the while no one will really mourn them but their families the whole world will be affected. Within 2 years the entertainment industry will have all the replacements in play on the first jet. On the second plane it takes many years to replace those skill levels

Honestly, I don't see why players can't say whatever they want. I think it is actually crazy GMs would complain about this. Or a better word would be pathetic: I think it is actual pathetic GMs are complaining about this.

Couldn't agree more. Anyway, how would you police players from recruiting others.
The NBA is Marketing Machine and larger markets will always having and advantage, just like with any other industry.
