Small market teams suck!

Adande is a L.A. fanboy. Please help his Lakers land a superstar, in other words. Kobe is nearing the end.

Funny how he uses the NFL as an example -- The NFL's hard cap levels the playing field and the talent is much more balanced around the league.

Another factor is the lack of talent. It's stretched thin as it is - the "superfriends" are making this problem even worse. I do think there ought to be a contraction of a few teams.

It does feel like this article was written by a fan of a very large market. The NBA is all about stars, if you have a superstar your going to get ratings and if you don't your not going to, its pretty simple.
Stern actually had a good interview recently were he talked about small markets and was talking about the root of the problem with small markets getting low ratings and seemigly ignored at times was because of the media surrounding the NBA not doing their job to actual market the entire game and instead they choose to market a select few players and teams instead of the entire NBA.
