I see there's a chance for snow here in the Portland Metro Area this weekend.

As usual, I don't believe the snow will pan out, but a guy can hope, right? The thought of a snow day (even on the weekend) makes me a wee bit giddy.

That is all. Carry on.

Very light snow falling down here in Albany, flakes are barely large enough to qualify as snow.

been snowing a bit in the Gorge today. Seems to have been coming from The Dalles over to us, might be headed your way after?

I said "this weekend", Wooks. This weekend. Anything that comes over the next few days will be insignificant. The best chance is Saturday and into Sunday.

This forecast model has been pretty consistent for the last couple of days. I am pretty confident that we'll get some serious snow in the cascades. Down in town? Not so sure, but every single newscaster plus the NOAA is forecasting at least some accumulation

And if you see under Alaska, we have another big-ass storm coming too right after Monday. Which hopefully catches up our snow pack.

snowboarding is going to be awesome the next couple of weeks I hope!

Yeah, I was in it all day. The wind was the shittiest part.

Snow sucks. I hope it doesn't snow. The end.

it has been absolutely nuts in the midwest this year. Another foot last night and 0 deg temps expected the next twp days. I hate this shit.

This was us. We re-stocked the liquor cabinet (we need to at least be able to make Irish coffees). Did all of our grocery shopping. I figure now that all the local news has picked up on it, it won't be so bad. But still... If it is bad for a day or two, we can supply a small army with food and booze for a few days.

You'll see some until the warm air scours out old the cold air and then it will be back to plain ol rain. And probaby buckets. That's how it usually works. This area is funny. Wish it received more snow but would rather see during Christmas season.
