DON'T DRIVE!!! It could be treacherous.
Shit, we used to have to drive to school with no AWD nor 4WD when we had 5 1/2 inches of snow. Nobody but the wealthy had even four wheel drive in those days. I don't recall us even having chains and certainly no snow tires.
Even my scaredy cat wife drove up and down a hill to the store and back.

Edit: I walked 22 miles to school, uphill both ways.

Normal winter weather for February here in Beautiful Central Oregon.

About 3 feet accumulated, expecting another foot today.

Took two days to dig out the driveway...it's also uphill to the road...man it hasn't dropped this much snow in Lane County since the 1800s according to the old timers who helped me get dug out this morning....power came back on about 11 am....about 30 hours without power.

I hear you guys got slammed. Also, my wife mentioned that the coastal trained was stranded for 36 hours with 180 passengers on board, near Oakridge. Not enough rooms in town so they stayed on the train.

Here in Portland, the snow is deep enough to reach the tread of my car tires.

Holy Trace Amounts, Batman!

Well, if you stand on the Sylvan offramp long enough they are saying big snow tomorrow. Oh by god there is a flake, its here!

I actually did a cookie in Mac pulling into a cul de sac yesterday.
Was a little surprised, but I had nothing in my ass end.

Where are you at in Central OR?
I love Central Oregon, we spend time there fishing and camping. Friends have place in Fall River.

...I've only lived in Redmond since the end of last February, never before in a place with THIS much snow! Wow. We are just shy of 24" here and expecting another 5-8" tonight. Our dog absolutely loves it!

yamhill county schools are closed again.
It's not a ton of snow at the floor, the hills tho aren't so much fun to drive.

Why is this person on my ignore list? I never put this person on my ignore list.

Beaverton schools are closed today. Odd in that I thought it was worse on Monday.

At our house near Lakeridge HS in Lake Oswego, this morning shows that we have the most snow we've had all year. Too bad, it will all be melted by this afternoon.
