I honestly think it should have been based solely on who got in the play-in. They were both that close that it should have been based on that. If both teams had made it in than I think you give Dame the slight edge. But since Dame willed his team to the play-in, I think you give it to him. The better question is how do we get Booker to pair with Dame. Man oh man

It is Dame for sure, but there is an argument for Booker. His team did go 8-0 and climb from nihility, heavily excluded by analysts and most everyone else to a near playoff berth.

I listened to a lot of podcasts yesterday and there are quite a few people who would now put Damian Lillard in the Top 3 on their real MVP ballot if these games had counted. I'd have Dame at #3 too. Giannis/LeBron/Dame/Harden/Jokic.
