Tax payer money should be used to help people. However, the government is usually pretty inefficient at these kind of things, so maybe cutting the check is the best way.
 
The best thing the government has done to stop the spread of this has basically been to become nationalistic and authoritarian. A turn away from globalism. More and more, our reliance on the Chinese and foreign manufacturing should be cut and we need to protect our national interest. If you want to go down this rabbit hole, we can go down this rabbit hole.

Basically these have been done:

Close the borders.
Curfews.
Forcibly closes everything down.
Restrict freedom of movement
Restrict freedom of assembly.

Property seizures will be next to set up quarantine areas if this gets worse. The worse this gets, the more that you will need that iron fist of authoritarianism to govern you.

As things become worse, the more authoritarian steps will be taken.


How is that working for y'all?

Its getting crazy, just a few weeks ago there was a huge action taken because this President was being to authoritarian (he was) now he's being criticized because he's not authoritarian enough in addressing this crisis.
I happen to feel this way to, but I do feel puzzled by the different standard. A little personal inventory is needed I think!

Where are all the protestors? Where is ANTIFA to fight for our rights?

Seems like they curled into a little ball and are in their corner.

Antifa doesn't fight the government, they fight the cryptofash chuds who congregate on gab. I'm sure youve seen them.

Authoritarianism isn't so bad when the government is on your side, so probably dont worry about it. The bars will open back up soon.
