of course both parties are mostly in the pocket of the same groups/companies, which is why party honks from either side are so ridiculous. Its amazing to me that people pay so much attention to the rhetoric and not the actions.

Something that just came to me. Why is Theodore Roosevelt in the picture?

Not only did he break off of the Republican party to form the Bull Moose party, but he's basically the father of the progressive movement and what turned into the new deal...which is something Republicans and Conservatives point to this day as a huge philosophical change in our governments responsibility..and socialist to boot.

He would've been insulted to be painted with the same brush as Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Bush. Eisenhower would've been insulted to be included with those guys too.
