So is it safe to say it's time to RAISE expectations on this season?

This team isnt winning 50 games as is. Theres just no way. 45 seems a bit much and thats if we stay healthy. I wanted to wait till tonight to post this if we lost to the bucks. The loss to the bobcats was a disgrace just for the fact that we would have won by 8 if we made free throws...but we didnt. Playoff teams win that game easily. I really belive this upcoming 2 weeks decide our season. Tonights game isnt a big game..its HUGE.
We beat the Bucks by 17. By YOUR definition, a HUGE win.
Since your post we went 6-1.

We aren't beating the cavs and if we lose tonight..thats a 3 game losing streak.
We lost to the Cavs, and the sky didn't fall...and we didn't have a 3 game losing streak.

It would also put us in the 9th spot.
Instead we are in the 4th spot, one game behind the 3rd spot. We're pulling away from Utah and fighting Denver for first in our division.

We are 24-16... should be 26-14 if we could make free throws. But it is what is. The problem with our record is, its the same as last years at this point which is disturbing. Translation.... no progress. Yet our gm says let the cake bake.
KG would make the right deal, won't make a deal if it's not right for the team. NO REASON to make a trade, unless it clearly makes the team better. Letting the cake bake isn't such a bad thing.

I realize what our schedule was but lets face it... we still don't look all that great regardless.
The schedule got easier and they are 6-1 since your post....scoreboard!

Now with blake out, its even worse.
Except that we seem to be playing AT LEAST as well, and maybe a little better.

If we lose 3-4 in a row... will our GM make a deal or call it a season is what im wondering because if we lose tonight... this teams season is on the brink.
Yeah, well we didn't loose, and there's little reason to cash in the season at this point. Instead, this team is on the brink of going to the playoffs, don't you think?

I don't care how many games we left. One thing i have to agree with in that yahoo article about KP... he is becoming too arrogant.
Because he doesn't rush into a trade to make you happy?

You would think he would make sure this team made the playoffs just to give him a little juice cause as of now all these great picks arent showing they can carry us to wins or the post season. :sigh:
He IS making sure that we make the playoffs. We're on a pace to win 52.
:sigh: indeed.
There's now way around it. The Bobcats loss could be the game we look back on and say "thats when the season turned."
Except that it wasn't.

Im sorry but i cant get this bobcats loss out of my head...
Is there some point in this season that you will realize that this team is going to make the playoffs, relax a little and start to enjoy watching these young guys grow into a powerhouse?

i love how just cause we beat the hornets wout paul.... everythings fine lol.

does anyone notice we cant defend the paint? paul and deron killed us and made us look silly. kidds turn next.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

With Roy at 80% and Blake out for a month, we could be headed for a real ugly stretch. I predicted 45-48 wins, based on how healthy the team stayed, so I am not lowering that.

Roy was at like 10% tonight. But we are deep and this team does not give up. Never say die!!!

the good news...we have 30 wins.

which means all we need is about 20 more to make the post season. if we can beat the knicks and thunder...it should be a lock

Wait? What? What's your angle mister?

How strange, another thread by mixum that has proven to be COMPLETELY false...

This has been a confidence building stretch, the team proving they can win without their best player, Steve Blake.

But if Blake misses another week or two...season over.

Shit, Kidd can make us look silly all night long if he wants! As long as the results are the same!
