1) for varying reasons we have lost several of our best posters like EdO, Minstrel, Brian from WA, and now HCP.
There are still many quality posters here, but losing those guys and others hurts.

2) some newer posters have come with different posting styles, perhaps cause they are young, or used to posting on O-live. But it takes time and a solid community to help them learn that this forum became great because we don't just bicker and gripe, but we discuss issues, reminisce, and debate as fans and not just Internet douches.

3) there have been rube trolls that are allowed to divide the community up until the moment they post cocks.

We've also got some good new posters, like NOVoodoo and RunBJM who have a good outsiders perspective.

Its funny that PapaG is acting the board's Ghandi nowadays.
 
the worst thing is, we're still stuck with crappy posters like julius.

The last day of the month rule is in small type on the back of your membership card, with other valuable information. Did they stop passing those out?

I think the rule should be to let GOD smite any trolls. Only He's in a position to judge. Ya know?

Since I have been more active I have noticed that unless u have the popular opinion here, u are looked at as a troll.

I've seen many posters get run out of here the last year alone. It's like a bunch of bullies at school in a weird way.

you have a good point, but for one small fact. Thats not true. It has nothing to do with popular opinion or not, it has to do with the way it's delivered. You know thats the case, trolls themselves know thats the case. They just act like it's about "popular opinion" because they think people are too stupid to be able to discuss ideas of a diverse nature, and they are so desperate to stay on as trolls they try to act like it's about opinions. It's troll 101.

I agree with Julius. Most of us come here to talk basketball and engage in a little good-natured ribbing from time to time. Sometimes we fight -- because we care, LOL. The last few days this place has devolved into O-Live territory. These conversations don't interest me and I doubt I'm the only one. This is the path to ruin, I tell ya'. I don't hang out in red neck bars and I don't hang out on O-Live. If this keeps up, pretty soon I won't much feel like hanging out here either.
