Devils got a kid Reid Boucher playing in the AHL. I think he has a chance to be a very good player. He'll need a strong center.

Yeah, they have been awful. So far I was dead wrong on that Vanek deal helping them this season. He does have 6 points in 8 games, but they have really struggled.
Losing Nabby hurt them a lot. He isn't good, but he is better than the other junk they have in goal.

because it was a dumb trade to made. Not just did they mess up with chemistry (Moulson and Tavares had been linemates for many years and are good friends), they also burned 2 valuable assets (a 1st and a 2nd draft pick) to "upgrade" offense, that was never their problem, when they could have used those picks to improve D or G, where they are weak.

Moulson trade was dumb it wasnt a huge upgrade and probably did not sit well in the room

Yeah, didn't like the trade because of the picks they added. Vanek is better than Moulson. The rest of what they added in that deal didn't make sense.
