OK, OK, I know. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I get it.

This one is a bit different. We shall see.

Here is the short of if:

$15k
Zero maintenance fees. Zero.
Part of the Interval International system (VERY nice resorts!)
It's just the wife and I so, we'll normally schedule a 1-bedroom suite. $199/week anywhere in the world Interval has properties. Unlimited usage.
2-bedroom is $299/week; 4--bedroom is $499/week. Up to 6-bedroom units.
We can also do 2-nights, 3-nights, 4-nights, etc., for $40/night

Example: We want to go to Sicily. $199/week. $398/2 weeks, and so on. Can even get units for the extended family. As mentioned, unlimited usage.

Seemed to fit our lifestyle.

LOLZ.

Umm.....Ima sending u a link to my online shopping portal. you can be your own boss with your own online biz

They saw you coming.

OK, well, we do own a cottage on the Florida panhandle coast and are amazed that we're getting upwards of $2,500-$3k/week for the the thing, so the fact that we're paying $200/week for anywhere in the world is relatively palatable.

Sounds way better than the Wyndham spiel I listened to one time to get a “free” vacation. They wanted $25,000 up front and a fee that worked out to around $700 a year for a 1 week timeshare. Then I got to listen to the ”no pressure” sales doofus explain time me how stupid I was for not understanding what a great deal I was passing up.

THINK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY'S FUTURE? DON'T YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY?

Just tell them no a bunch. Sometimes they start offering you a timeshare for a few grand. The foreclosure ones.

My dad has one and I used it in Hawaii for my honeymoon. It can be good if you travel all the time. Most people just don't.

We have friends who live in the area (Branson, MO) and, as it turns out, they both worked for the timeshare company at one time. Hence, the sales guy cut straight to the "bottom line" with us. We'll be semi-retired in 2021, so lots and lots of travel is on the horizon. :)

Was in Cabo last October, Sat through two timeshare presentations.

$400 off my bar tab, free Side by Side tour, glass bottom boat to Lovers beach.
My grandparents used to go to those things back in the 70's and 80's (or similar shit) and get free TV's and other free shit...and since my grandparents weren't hurting for money (they weren't rich, but my grandfather retired early and had 100% disability), they would donate the TV's (and the other shit) to Native American reservations that they would drive down to in Arizona and New Mexico to donate books, clothes and food too.

They never once fell for the pyramid scheme...er, I mean timeshares.

My other grandparents tho? Fell for it hook line and sinker. Which is kind of ironic, because their children (my mom and dad) were almost the polar opposite of their parents in this regard. My mom falls for shit all the time, my dad didn't.

how a out for us conservatives??

Come on. Im your best friend. Fuck sly.
When you say "Fuck sly" when do you think that could be arranged? After reading all of iron man's posts about the giant erection of the jumbo tron, I'm feeling the need for a really kinky adventure. So, who's gonna hold sly down 'cause I'll bet he doesn't like the idea.

Since we'll now be able to get a 1-BR unit for $199/week pretty much anywhere in the world, we're looking into renting our house out on a short-term monthly basis for probably close to $2,700/mo, then vacationing in any one of the TS units for $800/mo. 2021 is gonna be wonderful!

Our home is in a perfect short-term rental area - near many corporate headquarters, and the like. Plus, Nashville is still a hot destination point. We'll have no problems renting out our home on a 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, or the like basis. This coupled with the fact that we both can/do work virtually. Pretty good gig that way.

Do we get the S2 discount? (Asking for a group of 20 fun-loving board members.)

We'll need to wait until we get the house built. It's on the same property/lot.
