First time in couple years excited to watch. I expect Sharpe to struggle initially after not playing in a game since high school.

Sharpe
Brown
John Gray
Jabari Walker
Keon Johnson
Louzada?
Brandon Williams?

I assume

Sharpe
Walker
Brown
Watford
Johnson

and then a bunch of guys I don’t care about

Yeah, no doubt he will struggle. But it will still be good for him. Then you will get the fans who will say "if he can't dominate in summer league"........I may have to take a break from this board when that happens.

The thing about summer league other than the fact that they add so many players that haven't played together more than a week, is that a lot of these players have no offensive skills whatsoever, and will be trying to make a name for themselves with their hustle. I would argue that the defense being played in SL is often equal, if not better, than the first 3 quarters of a regular-season NBA game. Some players are hacking away like crazy in the summer. It gets ugly.

My guess is starters will be:
G: Brandon Williams
G: Keon Johnson
G: Shaedon Sharpe
F: Greg Brown III
F: Trendon Watford

Key Reserves: John Gray, Didi Louzada, Jabari Walker.
They will likely sign another PG and C and a couple of practice scrubs to round out the roster. Should be one of the best Blazer rosters for Summer League.

Blazer summer league schedule

Here’s a look at the schedule (all times PT):

7/7 vs. Detroit Pistons, 6pm (ESPN)

7/9 vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 4pm (ESPN2)

7/11 vs. New York Knicks, 5pm (ESPN2)

7/14 vs. Houston Rockets, 3:30pm (NBA TV)

Dang. Gonna miss it all. Will be on vacation without reasonable internet access. I'll check in here occasionally to get some opinions/reviews but otherwise, will miss it all.

Bummer.

Simons was a monster at summer league and didn't play college ball. I don't know if the expectation is that Sharpe looks amazing but I wouldn't be surprised if he does.

Sharpe of course. Greg Brown? Unfortunately I can’t go this year due to work commitments. I think they will be very fun to watch though!
I just realized i will be in Vegas from the 8-10th. I have never attempted to go to summer league. I haven't a clue about how to get tickets etc. I think I am going to drag the wife along and catch that NO game on Saturday ifi can figure out the logistics and what not. . Any insights or advice?

Thanks!!
It's all general admission. Seating is first come - first serve.
I believe tickets are ~$50/ea for all day.
I'd buy tickets at the door. You may save ~$2-3 by doing it online, but that's not a big deal.

Both courts are in the same building & you can walk between the two.

If the game is on the Thomas/Mack court - that's the UNLV main stadium & there is plenty of seating. If its the other aauxiliary court - seating can be hard to find (depending upon what team is playing)

Thanks! Great info!

I'm gonna put some money on the Blazers winning SL lmao

I somehow remember a summer league team we had once that we all thought would dominate and they didn't at all. Can't remember when though.......

Take your pick. We have done that a lot. The hard part about predicting SL is that is we have no clue
on who is on the other teams.
