Malhotra will be a top 10 pick in this year‘s draft said Greentree was the best player he’s played against. Lafreniere and Perreault clicking with thick head Mika. Kartye stolen by Drury and clicking with Laba. Finally something positive. I have no complaints drafting Maholtra or Lawrence at 5 or 6 or even lefty d man Smits. We just need to keep adding talent to the farm. A top lefty d man is crucial. Schneider has played with partners not up to his level his entire career. That would allow Borgen to be on the 3rd pairing which would be great.

Even though winning isn't necessarily in the organizations best interests at the moment, we all should be encouraged by the improved play of key players. We might also want to temper the enthusiasm considering they havent really played strong teams recently. Still, positive is positive!

Here is the report on greentree. I used ai. lol

Organizational Fit

For the New York Rangers, Greentree profiles as a future power winger capable of complementing skill centers.

Potential future line role:

RW – Greentree
C – playmaking center
LW – speed winger

This combination would maximize his puck-possession and finishing strengths.

StageTimeline
OHL Development1–2 seasons
AHL Transition1 season
NHL Readiness2–3 years

Comparable NHL Player Style

Greentree’s play style resembles elements of:

  • Chris Kreider – net drive and power game
  • Tom Wilson (offensive version) – power winger with scoring touch
  • Tage Thompson (wing elements) – big frame with scoring instincts

Risk Assessment

Risk Level: Medium

Reasons:

  • Skating development required
  • Defensive consistency still developing
However, physical tools and scoring ability create high NHL upside.

Skill CategoryRatingNotes
Skating5.5Average stride; strong balance but first-step explosiveness needs improvement
Puck Skills7Excellent control in tight spaces and along boards
Hockey Sense7Strong offensive reads and timing around scoring areas
Shooting7.5Quick release; accurate snapshot; dangerous in slot
Playmaking6.5Good vision off cycle and on rush entries
Compete Level7Physical engagement and puck battles are strengths
Physicality7.5Uses size effectively; wins board battles
Defensive Play5.5Functional but inconsistent in coverage
Overall ProjectionTop-six NHL winger

so in short. he does not seem like he will be ready next year. Hopefully, Drury won't rush him and let him develop in the ahl.

Take your AI and shove it up your ass. Everything in that report was wrong. His skating is now powerful. On a sidenote, fucking retard Sullivan put JT Miller back from the power-play unit in practice in place of Gabe. Is he retarded.

Did you even read it. Maybe his skating has improved. Everything else looks good to me. And yes AI is right . He won’t be ready next year but you keep dreaming.

I don’t need to read it. AI is fucking retarded. I already went through multiple scouting reports. Anybody who relies on AI is a fucking moron. Greentree should not need any AHL time he’s already physically mature. I am supremely confident he will make the team next season right out of camp.

Also, both is general manager and current coach say his skating is now powerful and is a strength so that AI report is already wrong.

Greentree is more NHL ready than Laba was coming out of college. Laba oh by the way who 99% of people didn’t think was much of a prospect at all when I was touting him years ago. Greentree and Cuylle are a little similar as prospects, but Greentree is much, much, more mature and advanced in his skill set than Cuylle was coming out of juniors.

lol you were saying the same things when Othmann was a prospect and hyping him up like crazy. Othmann turned out to be a bust. Now you moved on to Greentree. He is a solid prospect who will need some time in the AHL to develop his game more.

Sullivan is going to be destroyed by the fan base if he takes Perreault off the PP and puts that lazy, sulking, fuck, Miller on there. You would have thought they would have learned after 6 years of fucking Lafreniere up by doing that.

“A lot of hockey executives call it ‘Fool’s Gold,'” warned NHL insider Pierre McGuire, on the Rink Rap podcast. “This time of the year, teams that are already clearly are out of the playoff run, they’re really dangerous to play against … I think that’s part of it, when you talk about teams like the New York Rangers right now.”

“I do like to look for the positives of teams that do want to work hard, and one of the positives is the play of Mika Zibanejad, and the developing play of Gabe Perreault. Lafreniere looks like he’s more comfortable playing with Zibanejad, which is a positive. Getting Adam Fox back, that’s a huge thing, another positive,” McGuire offered.

“So, there’s more positive than negative right now,” McGuire said. “I think the coaching staff is starting to feel their way through this roster. It’s going to be a tough year for free agents. It’s not a real good year, so I don’t think Chris Drury can go down that road. It’s been a really tough year in Hartford, a few really tough years in Hartford, so there’s some work to be done.

“Retool, rebuild, it really doesn’t matter what you call it, they’ve got some work to do.”

Taking Perrault off the PP is counter-productive to what this organizations objectives should be at this stage of the season. Developing the younger players on the roster should be their priority until the end of the season. Let them build confidence and chemistry so when next season starts they can build off the end of this season. Reducing Perrault's ice-time, especially by way of less PP time is a mistake.

Counter-productive, and quite frankly illogical. I cannot come up with one reason why you'd take Perreault off the top PP when the team is out of it and not going to come close to making the playoffs. What would be the logic behind the move, and it sounds like it's going to happen as Miller practiced on PP1 yesterday. This is where Sullivan needs to wake up a bit and understand where the team is right now.

It's down right fucking moronic. Nothing new for loser organization. Thus, why they have one cup in over 85 years. They are fucking run by idiots. Sullivan should be ashamed of himself if he does this. Before Crosby got hurt, Penguins were on their way to making the playoffs with our ex assistant coach. What does that tell you?
