I just spoke with him, between his pension, 401K & Attorney fees it was close to 200K, that doesn't even include what he lost on the house.

2- Rick, did you mean your Bros Divorce cost him 100 grand???
My own Brother's life was in shambles a year prior to his passing; due not only from his pain after back surgery, but his mental torture of going thru the Divorce Process.
No one comes out a winner in a Divorce, and too often its one's kids who are hurt the most, and/or scarred, for decades to come, and a life of hell; can follow, long after their own parents are gone from the face of Earth......

My first guess was 100K ($100.000) not $100.00. I think you guys missed the extra 0 on my original estimate.

the period in lieu of a comma threw me off. Not so much the extra 0. I've had to deal all my adult life; with measurements usually to the .0001 or .00001, (1 thousandth and 1 ten thousandth of an inch)......nothing more really.....
Then again, with today's drive thru wedding chapels in Vegas, one can also do the same with a Divorce, drive thru style....probably for $200 I'd guess......?
