Sometimes, the death penalty seems appropriate.

THIS is fucked up. The fact there are children being treated like this makes me sick in the very pit of much stomach.

Situations like this is why I consider adoption a viable option in my household.

Wow, those fuckers deserve to be tortured the same way they tortured their own child. How could anyone hurt a fucking kid? Just sickening.

I couldn't make it through the whole article. Just disgusting.

they are not going to enjoy prison very much

These scumbags should be slowly tortured to death! I hope this haunts the pathetic social workers that failed to help this poor kid for the rest of their lives.

SHAME ON THE FUCKING SOCIAL WORKERS!!!!

There's no fucking scenario where a 9 year old showing signs of abuse at home and writing a suicide letter should be overlooked.... This is the most obvious cry for help, how the hell do you work as a social worker and not do something!?!?!!!?

Edit: Blame isn't on them, obviously it's these disgusting disgraces to the human race that are really at fault...

I don't understand people who are against the death penalty. Then again, these fuckers deserve the worst death imaginable. So, I could see keeping them alive technically.

Well, I don't want to turn this into a death penalty debate, but I am against it. Do I want to see these 2 dead? Of course. Same for plenty of killers, rapists, molesters. But that doesn't mean I think the state should do so (for various reasons).

I think we need, as a society, to try to understand what we did to cause them to abuse their child.

This was sarcasm right?

Obivously, there is something in their day-to-day existence that caused them to act in such a horrible way. My question is, what as a society did we do wrong? How did we not give them the help they need? What are we not understanding?

Okay that is worded much better.

It isn't worth debating on my part either. If I saw someone kill someone I love I would lie about it to the police so I could get them myself. So I think we might be on the same page, or in the same book at least.

Yet you never asked yourself what drove that person to kill someone you love. Isn't that the most important question?

Kind of like people don't care about why they did 9/11. It would humanize the monster.
