I can't make the draft on Wednesday. If anyone else has a problem and a change is made, I am available anytime Thursday-Sunday.

Otherwise, I'll just auto-draft.

We will see if anyone else comes forward and wants to move it to a different night.

Draft is tomorrow night 7 PM. That going to be a problem for anyone? It is for Maris but I think it would take hearing from 3 others to go to another night since we have 14 in the league this year. 4 out of 14 I would make a move to help people. If it is only a problem for 1 or 2 then we keep it the same. @Shaboid @Natebishop3 @Fonzthecpt1 @Nhawz @BigGameDamian @HAAK72 @BlazerAce @theprunetang @RipCityDSCPL @BonesJones and Whoever Mop N' Glo is.
Wednesday is perfect for me.

Head to head vs your opponent for that week in each category.

Overall would be called Rotisserie I believe. This is not that.
Oh. Why do you prefer each category verse rotisserie?

We might not still be on the same page. And it could be somewhat my fault with a shitty explanation.

For simplicity sake let's say that there are 3 categories. Total Rebounds, Points and Assists. If you end the week with 111 rebounds, 179 points and 87 assists and I end the week with 109 rebounds, 183 points and 82 assists then you beat me 2 to 1. You don't just win and I lose though. Your record shows you won 2 and lost 1 after that week. I wouldn't be 0 -1 I would be 1-2.

That make sense? And why do we do that way? Always have. Feel it is funner. Rotisserie you technically aren't playing an opponent each week. You are playing the whole group. Head to head is more like football so you can have trash talking by beating someone.

Yeah, I've always seem it as, if I win 5 categories and you win 3, I'd be 1-0 and you'd be 0-1. So it'd still be like I'm playing you.

So I was wondering what the preference was for having win-loss records decided by each category instead of each matchup.

That maybe how it is done on some other platforms but I see no setting to even do that in Yahoo.

So one of the main reasons we do it that way is it has always been that way. Another reason is it actually allows you to catch up quicker if you fall behind.
If you lose the first two games your way then you are 0-2 and someone is 2-0
If you lose 5-4 to me and then to someone else two straight weeks then you would be 8-10 and I could be 10-8. So doesn't look any different right? But the 3rd game you could be 8-1 and you just went to first. In your scenario you would be 1-2 and would have no chance being in 1st.

I'm glad I can make this draft. I do another league and spaced the draft day. Auto draft killed me. It drafted Chris Bosh in the middle rounds, and gave me only Marcus Smart and George Hill as my PG's.

I don't remember who had the shitty draft last year, but the draft chatroom was pretty funny.

Tomorrow works for me, this time I'm not going to accidently draft Kevin love in the first round!

After last season, I think my approach this year will be to have fun building the roster and finding steals.

Makes sense. The only thing I wish, would be if certain categories could be more valuable. I know you probably can't do that but it kinda sucks that having a higher FT% is just as valuable as Points Scored. But I'm looking forward to it. Should be pretty fun!

...last year you didn't have fun? Or was it that you drafted too many busts? :dunno:

I did have fun... and I did draft a lot of busts. My team was so different by the end of the season.

But frankly wins and losses don't mean much because the actual playoffs happen when most good players aren't even playing. It's all kind of silly.

...it was probably me since I had to miss last year's draft -- time for redemption, watch out!

Nah, it was definitely someone drafting live. I remember they meant to pick one player but accidentally picked someone else, and they were really down about their whole draft.
