Song help!

I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about music.... BUT I'm stumped on this one. Hoping some R&B/Hip Hop fans can help me out. Back in the mid 80's Joe Jackson did a song called Steppin' Out. Great song by the way! Anyway, While we were just in Dallas, they were playing a song on the PA a few hours before gametime and it was a new R&B version of it. Tried to use my Shazaam app on my iPhone but it didn't work! Wondering if anybody knows who does it. Can't find it on iTunes or Google! Driving me crazy!
