Been there, done that. East Coast smothered. Good luck to you guys.

The Great Equalizer! and we need it.....

Snowmageddon ‘21. The local news stations are all probably drawing straws right now to see which lowly intern gets stuck on a freeway overpass at oh dark thirty making inane comments about potential traffic issues before the first snowflake even touches the ground.....same shit, different year.........

Not gonna happen

Better now than when the fruit trees blossom....late frosts always ruin my cherry crop

I always got a kick out of the reporter on the Sylvan overpass looking for the first sign of snow. By golly I just saw a snow flake fall to the ground.

We already had Snowmageddon '21 out here in McMinnville. Traffic through this little town was backed up for miles. We had the worst kind of wet, heavy, sloppy snow for driving a week or two ago and it was pure chaos. State trooper didn't even bother following me after I ran a red light.

It was also best kind of snow for snowballs (until you get hit by one).

I wanted to be a reporter from a young age and when I got into HS/College my parents would always joke with me that one day I'd be on the side of the freeway in some place like Troutdale waiting for the storm to hit. When I started doing news in Laredo I figured I had dodged that bullet until one night we got a random storm that brought ice and there I was on the side of I35. Me and the family got a good laugh out of it that night. Thankfully I moved into sports not long after that and haven't had to worry about any of those live hits from the side of the road.

Gets cold here, too. We'll be headed to Florida just in time for the frosty fun, though.

Snow sucks. Around here at least.

The DOT doesn’t have enough resources because we rarely get it. It’s a different kind of snow so it’s more wet and slick. We have tons of hills. Too many Californian transplants that don’t know how to drive in it.

I’ve been in other snowy places like Colorado and Missouri where they get heavy accumulations and it’s not even an issue.

Lastly, working outside in that shit is awful. Cold, wet, slick, having to chain up in it. Getting stuck.

Fuck the snow. If I wanted to be in it I’d go to the mountains. Add freezing rain to the mix and we’re fucked.

Why you don't you tell us how you really feel.

Do you have any of my favorites, Royal Anne's?

Don’t care for snow. Wife’s a Cali girl, so she hates it. My daughters love it, though. They’ll be looking forward to it. We had a little snow about a month ago.
there's year around snow in Florida from what I've heard...

I have 4 varieties and I couldn't name them Lanny..one looks like bing for sure....they're all delicious..one of my trees is grafted with 3 varieties
Bings are my second favorite.

If I had cherries that were great eating out of hand, I'd be living off Cherries Jubilee.

I fucking love snow! Love driving in it! Both our cars are a blast to drive in!
I also use to love the snow until I found myself dependent on dialysis treatments three times a week.
I'd better go to Les Schwab and get my studless snow tires installed.
