Not really a magnificent feast, burned out on opening home to strangers and never knowing who will show up so invited folks who have been here before.

A more "formal" meal not in the sense of formal food but we are having actual courses & sitting at table, not just setting everything out at once.

We are having salad from my garden, meat loaf (organic & grass fed), smashed potatoes, sauteed Swiss chard from my garden, biscuits, cheesecake.
Hope the cheesecake has a graham cracker crust and raspberry sauce for a topping. Should have brandy and coffee with that cheesecake.

No sauce needed. My cheesecake has enough flavor.

I love cheesecake. My favorite dessert. I can't even imagine how amazingly delectable your homemade cheesecake must be.

Bernie may have really screwed himself. I'm surprised. Biden suddenly has life.

Sorry to hear that your fellow lefties would rather stay home and watch a Trump rally than watch another embarrassing Dem debate.

Sounds like they are missing a tasty dinner.

As usual facts wrong. I said I decided not to have an open debate watch party. I am certain many people would have come. I personally would rather watch a colonoscopy than Trump.

Every time they do a colonoscopy on me I watch. I once watched them burn a polyp off using electricity. Another time I watched them lasso the polyp and cinch the loop tight until it cut off. It's not like watching yourself, it's more like watching someone else. It appeals to my engineering curiosity.
