It’s the guy from NewsRadio..

I don’t hate Rogan. I listen if someone tells me he has an interview worth listening to.

And yes, as mentioned he’s cashing in on kool aid drinkers.

Speaking of which, Powers Boothe was a pretty cool actor. I just watched one of his movies last night: By Dawn's Early Light.

People are just weird as fuck with their weird political shit.

My fiancé works in a somewhat rural school and tells me that weird ass Q anon people call up the schools regularly bitching about kids being taught about the civil war, MLK or anything history related really.

Lol! Jesus Christ... Where do these people come from? Where are they getting this shit?

Joe Rogan is my hero.

Market value continues to nosedive and now this — they’re digging through old clips of his:

I think I remember that place. Washington, right? Casino nearby?

Yeah they have card rooms there. The small downtown area is kinda neat with several different card rooms. It’s starting to grow like everywhere else so getting more normal. But backwoods if you go off the beaten path a little and tons of weird Mormons live out there.

Watch out for the Stepford wives!

11 million-ish people per episode, apparently. About 10 times more people than CNN’s top shows pull.
This means nothing unless you quantify that with like thinking and against the other side of thinking. You could have 1/2 as much support in several sources that outweigh the combined support for the Joe Rogan types of podcast.
Besides anything that dabbles in lies is drivel.

Just ask the CDC/WHO what "truth" is. Is it the same "truth" as a year ago? Two years ago?
1. The CDC has changed it's views on Covid-19 very little;
2. Whatever changes the CDC has made have been because of where the data has led them and the data becomes more and more accurate as it accumulates. This is a paradigm in engineering. I am an engineer so begin with knowing that I am always right.

Exactly. The data is the truth. The CDC gave us advice based on available data.

I think I sent you that exact shirt, did I not?

I see you didn’t post a link to back this up. Sounds like complete bullshit.

Who watches Joe Rogan anyway? I don't. Of course I don't watch any podcasts so there's that.
I've watched a few times when he's had interesting guests on. He didn't drop the N-WORD in those episodes...

I've only seen him on UFC broadcasts. If people want to get their COVID information from podcasts that's on them.

My favorite part of Joe’s “I’m not a doctor” defense…

When he told a doctor, who was a guest, that he was wrong about Covid specifics and then proceeded to tell Jaimie to pull up a baseless article :biglaugh:

I thought his stuff in DMT and ayahuasca was interesting but you can only get a few shows about that. I would like to give it a shot one day

Oh, my...if Jon Stewart is behind Joe, then I'm all in!

Jon Stewart calls ‘overreaction’ to Spotify’s Joe Rogan debacle ‘a mistake’

90

Comedian Jon Stewart is siding with controversial commentator Joe Rogan and thinks that artists pulling their music from Spotify to protest Rogan’s podcast is “an overreaction” and “a mistake.”

“Don’t leave. Don’t abandon. Don’t censor,” the former late-night host said on his Apple TV+ podcast “The Problem With Jon Stewart,” instead calling on critics to “engage.”

The former “Daily Show” host was asked by his co-hosts to weigh in on the debacle, which has ensnared Spotify and Rogan over the past week and has prompted public statements and apologies from both.

Rogan’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” is the streaming service’s most popular podcast, but critics have accused the show of spreading potentially dangerous misinformation about vaccines and COVID-19 treatments.......................

No excuse. Period.

Joe Rogan addresses his repeated use of the N-word in viral clip

Joe Rogan has responded to a resurfaced clip of him using the N-word almost two dozen times while hosting his wildly popular podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

Calling the clip “the most regretful and shameful thing I’ve ever had to talk about publicly,” Rogan, 54, insisted the video consisted of “out of context” snippets from “12 years of conversations” on his show.

“It looks f–king horrible. Even to me.”

He continued, “I know that to most people, there is no context where a white person is ever allowed to say that word, nevermind publicly on a podcast, and I agree with that now. I haven’t said it in years.”

He then admits to using the word in his past, but claims it would only be within the context of the conversation.

Grammy-winning singer India.Arie shared the now-viral clip of Rogan Thursday on Instagram while explaining her reasons for removing her music from Spotify, citing Rogan’s “language around race” and $100 million deal that she believes was built on the backs of musicians.

While acknowledging that social media footage “can be doctored” and/or “taken out of context,” Arie, 46, argued that the stand-up and UFC enthusiast, “shouldn’t even be uttering the word — don’t even say it, under any context. Don’t say it. That’s where I stand. I have always stood there.”
