Remember when he turned down that huge extension from MIN; multiple years @ $10 million a season? It was the summer after their WCF appearance, he felt "insulted". So he played out the final year of his contract but the team was a mess and he never played again.
 
How the hell do you make $15 million a year and still have a mortgage? The guy should have had multiple homes and had at least one of them paid for. What a dumb fuck.
 
Too bad Carlesimmo didn't choke Sprewell, instead of the other way around. The guy is unbelievably stupid.
 
Sprewell, 34, described the team's latest offer, reported to be worth between $27 million and $30 million over three years, as ''insulting.''

The 34-year-old forward is in the last year of his deal and looking for an extension worth around $14 million per year. He claimed that any less would prevent him from feeding his family.

Wasn't this news like 2+ years ago? When he ended up having to sell his home or declare bankruptcy or something like that?
