Give me a minute here. I'm not here to gloat not here to rub anything in your faces. I just wanted to say, please don't take it too hard. This is the farthest your team has been in a while. Your team is young and the future is bright. It's amazing that y'all are still relevant after Roy's unfortunate ending. Again don't take it so hard. You are playing a battle tested, hardened Spurs team with one of the best coaches to ever coach. Your future is bright. All great teams take their lumps. I believe your team will break through soon. Don't give up. Also, the officiating comments are disheartening. Don't worry we will get screwed by the refs against OKC. I actually thought you guys got a ton of calls after halftime of both of the first two games. You pr team is over-matched. Both with experience and bench. Don't give up guys. Y'all will break through soon and when u do....please own the shit outta OKC. Please.
 
I also wanted to say that those of you that are giving us props for the way we play rather than making excuses like officiating are real basketball fans. Officiating makes a difference in games decided by 5 pts or less, not total domination games.

It IS a process.... You guys have LMA... While not quite a Duncan, he is something to build on.... Same with Lillard. You can only hope that your F.O. doesnt screw things up by jumping the gun and blowing their load in free agency. If they do it right, in 1-3 years your guys could be scary!
 
One more thing two teams bothered me before the playoffs started. Portland and OKC. I'm not gonna lie and say that I thought we would handle the blazers so easily. I was worried when y'all beat Houston. It's actually uncanny how many shots y'all are missing in the paint. So yeah I was worried, I guess our guys are just playing that much better and y'all are just cold, really cold.

Your posts on our forum have been very classy man. Respect to you. We've got an "around the nba" thread going on where we comment on other games. It doesn't get as much action as blazer game threads, but will definitely have activity going forward in the playoffs. I would love if you would check in occasionally during spurs games.

I hope we are able to learn from this clinic you guys are putting on. Could really help us in coming years. I think this series really gives the players and the management a good idea of where this team is at, and what changes need to be made.

I want to see 2 things going forward.

1. You guys keep Miami from 3 peating
2. The blazers make some good off season moves, and work on their defense for next season.

Absolutely man. I love basketball. I'm just lucky to have the team we have. Lots of us are spoiled. It's not gonna last too much longer. I love seeing other team fans views of us. It makes me proud. I am a realist thou and I know it's coming to an end. I will give props to those teams that play the right way. Y'all have the pieces. The PG, the PF,the defensive stopper/3pt shooter x2. You just need a bench and a good system. I hope y'all keep it together and don't blow it up cuz of a loss in the playoffs. You have to take your lumps like the bulls did with the pistons and so forth.

I think you're misunderstanding some of the complaints about the refs.

Nobody is saying you guys aren't clearly the better team. Pretty much everyone has resigned themselves to the fact that you guys are playing on an entirely other level right now. You can just see the frustration in the body language of the Blazers because they have no idea how to stop you guys on offense right now. Parker is playing at an MVP level. Stotts has tried a lot of different things to stop him and none of it is working. Your bench is so much better than our bench it is actually comical. It's like watching the Globe Trotters and the Washington Generals.

The reason why we were frustrated with the refs was because they were calling so many weak touch fouls on both teams. In the first two games the refs were letting both teams get away with so much contact, which I think actually favored you guys. Your defense is so much more physical than ours, so to have the refs swallow their whistles (on both sides), really actually favored your style quite a bit. But then last night it was just a bunch of weak shit. It was so obvious that they were calling cheap shit on you guys at the start of the half to get us back into the game, and then as soon as we start making a run they call a bunch of stupid fouls on the Blazers. It was just frustrating to watch. That's not taking anything away from what you guys did. Your team is insane right now on both ends. There is no doubt in my mind that you'll be back in the Finals, and then it's just a matter of whether the NBA wants you to win.

You could just see the refs looking at the scoreboard and thinking, "oh we have to keep this somewhat close or people will change the channel." Then as soon as we make a run and get it back into single digits, BOOM they call a bunch of cheap shit on us.
 
well said blizz, and comments like that (and posts you made) are more than welcomed here. It's the snide bragging and halfways trolling from some of the other spurs fans, that isn't.

to them I say
look, we all know the spurs are the better team. I don't think we need spurs fans coming in and reminding and pointing it out.

Trolling another teams fanbase is basically acting like you're a 4th grader. Your response is 'well, they started it!!!'.

Could you imagine telling your wife, or co-workers "Yeah man, I totally posted an article on the forum for the other teams fans and they totally got mad! I ruled that forum! LOL!"?

We all know rockets were supposed to win last series. Refs let it get too close and dame made them pay. They werent about to make the same mistake. Anytime they get within 10 lets kill momentum and frustrate their players with a ticky tack shit foul that was a no call earlier in game. You can read these refs like a book. Im not blaming refs for this series, our guys showed up for one half out of 6 so far. But I do know what those sleazy bastards are doing.

In case you havent noticed...the series ISNT OVER YET.... yet these spurs fans just cant wait til its over to come on what i thought was a Blazers fan forum and rub it in our faces... but you seem to have shook his hand and said congrats. You give up as fast as this team does..

And fans that come in to troll have been banned. Spurs fans like this guy are welcomed. Maybe you haven't noticed, but we have literally been blown out in all three games. No team has come back from 3-0. There isn't even a little shred of hope. It's not like the games have all been close. It has been a shellacking from start to finish. What are we supposed to be hopeful about at this point?

Outside of hopefully showing that we can win one? I would love to see us at least prove we can beat this team. But not really, I don't see much hope in coming back in the series. We really needed that win last night.
