Secondly, some of us are trying to rationalize getting absolutely beasted right now. Trying to stay a little positive. Sure, they could win four in a row, but is it likely? No.

Blizz, the Spus aee playing incredible ball right now. It isn't the refs, it's a dominant performance by a good team. Players hitting shots they uusually miss, very bit role players producing.... It's their series all the way. And Pops is indeed a very great coach. I'll be rooting for you all the rest if the way. We just caught a very very good team playing 110% with our 'B' game and are paying the price. That is not to say SA's defense has not been good- it has. Kudos to you.

Why is he here then? I don't get the point of his posts at all. Do they actually make you feel better?

I think some people do see it as rubbing salt in the wound, it's just completely unnecessary.

Respect? Maybe they respect our team and like our players? Why do you care? I think they're a nice change of pace from rocket fans.

They are completely unnecessary Vanilla, people like that who come into an opponents board BEFORE the series is over, are doing nothing but beating their own chest and belittling their opponent. So what if the blazers arnt playing well and might not win the series, Im not giving up...... and it Has nothing to do with "respect" like some fools seem to think

I don't care about anything that has to do with this forum other than the Blazers, sooo, why do I care about what?

Would you go post on their board saying how good they are and how much you respect them and how honored you are to lose to them right now? Go ahead if you like, I wouldn't care. I just wouldn't get it.

Don't you just hate that? Ugh. My second favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys ( Please don't make fun of me, I was born that way. Lol ) and I was called out over there for not being a "True" fan because I criticize Tony Romo. Nothing wrong with calling out a player or being friendly to opposing teams fans. I wished there was more sports fans like you and a lot more others around here that are losing with class. Trust me, if we was down 3 instead of up 3, I would still be here and I would congratulating you guys. Look at my thread I made before the series started.

I thought you guys were going to win since you have owned us since the 2008 season. 14-7 against us in that span. Blazers are the only team in the NBA that has a winning record against us since the 2008 season. Maybe that's the reason we picked up our game in this series because we respect your team. I hear our guys say that (respect) all the time. And maybe that's (owning us for several years) the reason your guys haven't played well, they thought it as going to be a walk in the park after us struggling the last 8 games of the regular season and games 1 through 6 in the Dallas series. Our bench has come to life in a BIG way, and THAT'S the reason why we're up 3-0. At our age I'll give the nod your starting five over ours, but our bench is light years better than your bench. Several more pieces here and there and you guys will be in the WCF in a few years, and when you do get to that point just take it easy on us because we're going be a mediocre team by then.

It isn't the refs. Bad calls have been made on both sides. You guys shot more FT's than we did. Now if this was Game 7 of the 2006 WCF against the Mavs, where they ( a jump shooting team ) shot 53 FT's to our 20, where Dirk ( a jump shooter ) shot more FT's than our entire team, ( Ugh! Damn you, Tim Donaghy, DAMN YOU!! He was the referee that was caught fixing games ) then that would factor into why you guys lost. The more aggressive team gets the calls in the playoffs. The Mavs in the last series got a lot of calls to go their way by being aggressive with us.




And to the guys who are upset that there are Spurs fans here beating their chests, I understand why you guys are upset. I would be too.

Most of us try to win and lose with class because David Robinson asked us to in 1999. After Game 5 of the 1999 Finals against the Knicks, a commercial was aired here with him asking us to celebrate with class like the way they did after winning our first championship on the Knicks court. Most of us ( especially the ones who live here ) took that to heart. No riots, no burning cop cars, no fights, nothing. Just a bunch of happy drunk Spurs fans shouting "GO SPURS GO!" in the streets after winning our championships.


Your team is losing with class and I love that. Pop and the rest of our guys would be doing the same if we were down 0-3. If we sweep you guys you won't see us celebrating. The first thing Pop, Duncan and the rest of our team will do is congratulate all your players before giving each other high fives. Just watch. Your team is not called the Portland Jailblazers anymore, you guys are doing it the right way. Be thankful for that.

The way I see it. If we didn't want people coming on here "beating their chests" (Which the majority of them are NOT doing)... then the team should win some games. Since we don't have control over that, we really are stuck with whatever comes our way.

It sucks. But it could be a lot worse. We could have had Rockets fan come over here. That would have been a nightmare.

I dont get why spurs fans can come in and give green font back handed troll compliments and we cant give them shit back? They are fucking killing us on the court, we get it. Now let us talk shit back we dont need to be door mats. No one is killing anyones family yet.

No one is saying you can't give them shit back. Just leave the personal insults out of it. (which you haven't really been doing.) The Spurs fans that have been obviously trolling or insulting people have been quickly bounced out of here. I think I've notched 4 fresh marks on my ban belt. Nate has gotten one or two.

We doing the best we can and trying to be fair. Some of the Spurs fans have been pretty nice.

theyve been overly nice which is feeling like a troll. Which im fine with as long as we canon tell them their posts suck and their posts smell like slypokerdog breath after he spends a cold oregon morning eating his own poopsicles in the yard. You are doing a good job I just dont want to see guys go overboard and ban blazers fans and fall for this nice guy act by spurs fans. After they beat us ill be rooting for them to win it this year tbh. But right now we are at war, we are wounded, but the battle is still going and we are going to fucking crush them with nothing to lose.
