OT Spurs @ Nuggets game 7

Everyone wants Utah and we end up playing OKC. Everyone wants Spurs and we end up playing the Nuggets.... I don’t care anymore, Blazers going to the WCF
Who is our starting center that is leading us to the WCF?

I can understand getting all caught up in playoff fever, but do you on here who say we are better than the Nuggets and we should win, really feel that way? I mean Milsap and Jokic are going to kill what little we have left of a front court. Zac is really going to be important in this series and Skal might actually get some run. Let that sink in. I'm quit sure our backcourt will do what they do, but Jokic is dangerous. Gonna be a tough task to beat these guys.

Nah. I'm not worried. We have the best player on both teams.

You're more worried about defensive rebounding against the Spurs than the Thunder? Thunder were one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league, and better than San Antonio. Aldridge gets 10 rebounds per 36 minutes. Aminu and Meyers got 9.6 rebounds per 36 minutes. Aminu has done a good job of holding him off the boards in the past. Worrying about Aldridge rebounding and thinking that they'd be favored without HCA because of that is a stretch to say the least.

That 13 & 10 would get replaced by committee. It's not like it vanishes into thin air.

Thing is, he's probably going to play, and you said they'd be favored even if he did. Which makes no sense.

I'm allowed to have an opinion and you're allowed to disagree with it.

At the end of the day in the regular season Stotts put Aminu on Aldridge.
Spurs as a team had 15, 9, 10, 14 offensive rebounds against Portland.
Everyone one of those games we had Nurk as well iirc.

The only way the Spurs would have a chance is if they hammered the glass. And against a team depleted at the 5. They'd have an advantage there.

Kanter provides things Collins & Nards doesn't. His 13 & 10 averages were got differently than Collins & Nards would get them.
Unless you're advocating for Portland to come down and throw the ball to Nards or Collins on the block against Aldridge, Gay, or Peotl.

I'm not going to even talk about per 36mins mr swish3.

Meyers proved his value in the Jan 30 Jazz win if you remember his embarrassment of Rudy Gobert. Meyers scored 4 of 5 swish3s and was excellent in beating the team that badly beat us twice in December. We will win if we use him as in that game!

Please don't talk to me.
I've gave Nards enough credit this season and have been a defender of him since last season.
Don't @ me.

I’m not scared of either of these teams.
This.

I think the Blazers have more better players, and the best player. Not having home court and having to win at least one possibly two games in mile high Denver is a bigger problem than Jokic. Also, no matter who is at center, we need to go at Jokic and get him out of the game. Murray can't beat us by himself.

I think the Blazers will go to Denver on a mission, and steal one.

I’m not convinced that I wouldn’t rather face Denver.
Me too. They've only got one player we need to worry about.

Can someone remind me how Denver has a better record than us?

Thank god we got rid of Aldridge, what a fucking idiot.

He screwed us one last time, now we have no HCA and we have to face with the only team in the league who plays close to jesus.

This is going to be a tough series for us. Jokic dribble handoffs and back doors to their guards will take some of CJ and Dames legs. Jokic is also a huge problem in the low post for us and they have multiple wings who will be on dame and cj throughout the game.

Offensively, we have to put Jokic in as many pick and rolls as possible. When Jokic gets tired he gets foul prone. I would not be surprised to see them trap with milsap in pick and roll.

Denver damn near choked the game away. Bring em on as they seem to struggle when the pressure is on.
