LMAO. are you guys fucking serious? the Blazers have a RIGHT to sign a player just to sit him the whole season so they don't pay for their stupid mistake in signing him for too much money? how is that beneficial to the player?
The player gets a guaranteed contract and is employed. After Memphis waived him and no other team claimed him, he had neither benefit. Miles has yet to enter tonight's game for Memphis; not so coincidently, Memphis is beating Houston by 14 points late in the 3rd.
and that, Pritchard was somehow "justified" in sending that email to all the NBA execs, when he was criticized for it by everyone but blazer fans (and even some intelligent blazer fans) because he was trying to discourage teams to sign Miles, to again cover up for his mistake? man
Pritchard didn't send out the email, so again, your ignorance on the matter is shining bright for all to see.
keep drinking that kool-aid, it must be pretty damn good.
Talking about real life situations and steps the team may take based on their previous actions isn't really drinking Kool-aid.
and to try to compare this to Pop sitting his starters again causes me nothing but![]()
My post was in direct response to the poster who said Pop could do whatever the eff he wanted to with his players. I asked why the Blazers couldn't legally sign an available player and then do whatever the eff they wanted with him.
Not only are you new here, but you obviously have little-to-zero grasp of the facts regarding Darius Miles.
